  1. I dont eat crisps cos they noticebly make snow much thicker and brighter
  2. Yeah I think its gunna be up soon.
  3. have you smoked opium with hppd? would be nice as a holiday to take once every 2 or 3 weeks, just have a day on opium and forget the shit
  4. i had a thing where i could hear voices as i was going to sleep last night. just a typical symtom of hypogogic hallucination though i think and yeah thats an absolute bollock load of LSD, an acid tab is usually like 150 MICROgrams
  5. If smoking opium was proved to cure us id be right on it. Iv told my parents this as a sort of, way of showing how bad this gets and what id do to fix it
  6. Ahhh right sorry i misunderstood, i thought youd managed to do all that mad shit and end up with nothing but closed eye patterns and afterimages, i was thinking you are one lucky mother fucker. By the sounds of it youve already had alot of bad shit, which hopefully has gone or will go in time. Alot of the lads on here still drink or smoke or what not occasionally but i preach 100% sobriety, no coffee, no booze, no drugs. If you stay sober youl definately see improvements, I got my hppd when i was 18,....4 and a half months ago. Basically for a week i thought id gone insane, i was preparing to kill myself etc. however after a week i notived improvements, its been very much two steps forward, one back, visually things have disappeared, new things have arisen but mentally things are way way better, im almost 100% normal mentally now and i believe sobriety did that. Basically what im saying is i reckon staying healthy and sober will do you wonders like its done me, some wierd new shit may pop up but it will probably go away in time. Give it a good few months sober and see how things go, if your on the edge or simply not able to cope, then you can think about meds and see whats to be done. Wer all very friendly here and very glad to help others out, welcome
  7. no its not that its...most people here see colours and patterns 24/7 when theyr awake. like, its not just after images i mean alot of people have maybe 20-40 symptoms so its good that if the only visual things you have are closed eye patterns and after images. it may be hppd but mild visually by the sounds. myself for eg, i have visual snow 24-7, text moves and warps, everything that moves leaves a big blurry trail, after images, closed eye patterns, random flashes etc. i would say not to worry about the visual things, just need to try and get your confidence back and restore your quality of life
  8. Welcome man, I agree if thats all the effects you have mother fucka you got away relatively well sir! After images the burn type images are called, theyr not nice but theyr adaptable to. Best thing to do by the sounds is stay sober and youl probably notice large improvements.
  9. Yes I agree. Definately, peoples attitudes change when I tell them the drug was ' given to me ' infact i was pressured into it. But yes il print some stuff off
  10. Depression im able to handle well. Iv had it since child hood and im very comfourtanle with my ability to handle it. Il see. I just ant my visuals improved a bit
  11. I get depressed but not more so than any other hppder id imagine. Is it common for it to kick people jnto depression? I dunno what to start with. Got my neuro on the first so I wanna reasearch some stuff to ask about. Sinemet seems safe...keppra safish bar rage. Fkuorinzine stuff....safish? Klono/xanex for if im suicidal only
  12. Anyone tried midrin or other medsgiven to those with post migraine aura. Been reading up, if they get rid of aura symptoms ( very hppd like ) maybe theyd hell us out
  13. Maybe we do have migraines and theyr just not as bad as we expected explains the occasional zig zags flashing and visual snow
  14. My mate gave me a load of zopiclone to try before hppd but I never took em. Too scared. I dunno why the cant put someone in a brain scanner give them klono. See what areas its effecting then bam. U have ur target hppd area
  15. Noone in my family gets migraines. Althiugh my family never admit theyr ill or need help so fuck knows
  16. I can ask my neuro about it and pass on the info to u kev?
  17. yeah iv had ups and downs...not wanked fora week, then 4 times a day, i dunno why the wierd fluctuation, i too feel panicy when doing it.
  18. I have an appointment with a neurologist on August first ( was a 5 month appointment wait ) Basicaly im going to ask for some tests, ask if id suit sinimet/keppra whatever, see if they can give me advice and answer Qs. I may also get them to recommend me a shrink I understand neuros are few and far between, some people are unable to see one, if anyone has anything they would like to know or are curious about please post and I can ask
  19. Yeah me too man, always quiet and shy kid who did well in school, moved from edinburgh to aberdeenshire, typical mad at my parents alcohol, partying ensued, i discovered babyshambles and pete doherty, quickly substituted my depression for booze. Then i got heavily into drum n bass and so came the ecstacy and mdma and all that shit :/ Iv had hypnosis for my fear of dogs as a wee lad and it worked wonders, still nervous but compared to before. The only issue id worry is that jay pointed out maybe you could worsen things by having ur brain wired to focus souly on the symptoms
  20. Im gunna try it aswell, or sinimet, really unsure what to try. Will be nice to speak to the neuro.
  21. ooooh. ima just stay out of the medical stuff, i dont know mcuh
  22. See iv never really had that. I kina see hppd as like " why not consolodate all your slightly weak points and mental niggles into one large at times un manageable payment " if u get me. Iv always had depressive phases, slight OCD and anxiety, hppd has just put them all on crack and here i am. But as you say, wer in control
  23. i think the word schizophrenia scares the shit outta me. i reckon its probably linked atleast to bi polar...infact i actually often refer to it as visual bi polar ( my symptoms fluctuate )
