  1. Madness?!?! This, is... SWEDEN! I couldn't help it :3
  2. Haha crazy bastard I was only a little street thug when i was younger, robberies (or robberys?) fights and burglary But it seems you were the victim always and a coma holy shit! Good thing you woke up.
  3. Excellent point! I wonder how many hppd-sufferers there are out there who has no idea about their condition and they think they're insane...
  4. Sunglasses almost removes my visual snow to 100% My only escape...
  5. Didn't Dr. Abraham speak to ~600 peyotemunching native americans and none had even the slightest symtoms of hppd. But as you say hppd has surely occurred.
  6. Hi all, i got to thinking alot about hppd recently and as with everything else, there must be a simple sollution to it (Well that is my optimistic opinion ). Anyway, i read on a swedish forum about a person who suffered from very severe hppd, he then got lucky with keppra and now he's symtom-free thanks to a daily cocktail composed of keppra, sinemet and klonopin. His neurologist could prove abnormal activity in his occipital lobe while he was having his eyes shut. I suppose you could say that the occipital lobe is overstimulated so basically, wouldn't you be able to calm it down by maybe not using a computer as much as the modern person does? The same goes with TV and cellphones. Wouldn't that theoretically reduce visual symtoms or what do you think? Any thoughts?
  7. I can imagine Luckily i will never in my life touch any more drugs. Yaaay.
  8. Yup, before hppd i only heard it when i was in a cempletely silent enviroment, now i can hear it whenever i focus on it.
  9. I thought swineflu was just a hoax In Sweden they said so... But you're right, i'll just have to wait. Right now the visuals are hellish, maybe because i'm insanely sleepdeprived atm...
  10. I see... Thank you for the link! It seems that few things affect hppd permanently except hallucinogens.
  11. Hi all, i am currently going through cognitive behaviour therapy for issues that is unimportant. During my therapy i have learned alot about what the human being is all about and how behaviours and thoughts are related and such. Anyway, i am going to try to get rid of my anxiety over hppd by exponating myself to it when it is really hard. Like in the mornings and/or when you are sleep deprived, hungover, stressed out etc. Although i definetely don't want my hppd to get permanently worse so i wonder, what can make hppd irreversibly worse?
  12. Nobody knows their real purpose here on earth becouse we have none decided for us. Everyone creates their own fate.
  13. Hey everybody! I just wanted to ask how hppd affects you while you are sick, i'm having a cold atm and high fever and my visuals are off the charts, the whole room is vibrating and god knows what else will happen :/ I'll have to endure this and hopefully i'll be better tomorrow
  14. Same here passion but i'm certain that they did lots of drugs after they got hppd and back then they had a different way of thinking, people did not care about their own well-being. Got they were so alpha!
  15. So good to hear man! My anxiety is almost gone but all my visuals are very unstable, hellish one day and mellow another, hopefully they'll go away soon
  16. I will take my time and read it thouroughly tomorrow and yea it would be awesome if you got in touch with the author.
  17. I think keppra and sinemet is most effective, and the workhorse for fighting hppd: klonopin seems to give temporary relief, Personally i think visual snow is the worst symtom. And that things are always moving, quit it already >
  18. I always ask myself everyday why i did 70mg instead of 15mg like my friends...
  19. I'm wondering over the same questions but i think that creatine, shakes and amoni-acids are ok. If the pwo you are taking contains DMAA (1,3-Dimethylamylamine) you should considering training without it. Seriously pwo's are just a waste of money, you get a better kick from simple caffeinetabs.
  20. Haha i never eat mushrooms or nutmeg as you don't. During the onset of my hppd i didn't eat outside my own house for weeks, i was sure everything was laced with drugs, i laugh at my behaviour
  21. I studied philosophy resently in school and that really didn't make my dr better... But dwelling over existential questions is imo a mature thing to do and you get aware that you are in fact just a speck on the earths surface. But that is just life so don'tdwell about questions that have no answer, do that when you are back to normal As an answer to your question, i had dp/dr for maybe two months but that went away as soon as i occupied myself with lots of things to do.
  22. Don't worry, you're swedish god damn it I have had much to do since my 'breakdown' a few days ago so i haven't had time to think about hppd and man do i feel good! I even went to a club with all my classmates and teachers, i got kicked out along with my teacher xD Allowing youself to have fun is really rewarding in the end.
  23. I've heard that keppra rage is really common, no worries
  24. I agree, nobody can really understand hppd symtoms, especially not dp and dr.
