  1. i'm not very consistent with my nac dosage. My anxiety was a sort of agoraphobic vertigo type feeling, like i wasnt attached to my body and had to hold on to something. After my first proper dose of nac 4 years ago (maybe 10 pills, cant quite remember) i have not suffered this since, even when i have had a break. There seems to be enough of a lingering effect that i dont need to be too regular about it. I tend to have maybe a teaspoon (4-5 grams?) up to 3 times a day if i am drinking a lot of alcohol or eating crap, down to quarter tspn or less once a day with my main meal. If i take too much my wife complains that my breath smells of eggs, but this can be mitigated by putting some zinc oxide in your gob.
  2. ive bought some niacinamide, not delivered yet. I doubt it will help much as it seems mainly to help anxiety which i no longer have a problem with (except maybe some deep fossilised anxiety that causes head pressure) thanks to nac. I also am from last night trying out a mix of alanine and histidine to increase my carnosine levels, which may help with energy. Alanine is dead cheap and probably just as effective on its own, so if it works i will probably ditch the more expensive (but not too bad) histidine subsequently. Meant to take a couple of weeks to reach full effect.
  3. anyone considering magnesium malate, can i suggest you save some pennies and buy magnesium oxide and malic acid separately. Should have the same effect as mag-mal at fraction of cost.
  4. yeah so do i, i've bought enough of the fecking stuff!
  5. actually, with your discount, 4pots x 110pills x500mg cost only £8.81. Too good to refuse!
  6. thanks, they are good prices, even with the shipping. However, for the niacin, i think i would like just the powder so will get that from aromantic, but will definitly use your code if/when i use iherb.
  7. cheapest uk supplier i could find is powder from aromantic, which is ridiculous as they are are not a value bulk powder specialist but is still cheaper than pills.
  8. seems to tick a few boxes: http://home.comcast.net/~pobrien48/niacinamide_Anxiety%20Disorders.htm
  9. by the way, bulkpowders are doing a promotion, so anyone using bulkpowders can get a £5 discount if they use my referral code, and i get something off my next order too: JU14655
  10. lettuce opium made my hppd head-movement sensation much worse for a long time after, possibly permanently.
  11. nac will mobilise many fat-soluble toxins (it makes them water soluble via glutathione conjugation), so the problem you had may have been an effect of this. Might be worth cutting back the dose so the side effects are tolerable, and they should pass as the toxins are removed. Drink lots of water too. Direct side effects of oral nac are usually limited to stomach upset. If you stop nac you will feel better as you will have a lower toxic load and you will not have the effects of toxin mobilisation, but it would be better to suffer the mobilisation effects until you are completely cleared of excess glutathione-conjugable toxins. I wonder if the increased side effects you got with time were due to your elimination system becoming more effective thus accelerating toxin removal. Did you get any rashes or spots?
  12. i failed my bachelors degree. I always assumed my hppd would improve, and just needed one more year and i could recover lost ground next year. This never happened, i retook my last year and came out with zilch. I subsequently took an open access MSc and came out with a merit after extending a year - my hppd and attitude had improved a little since the bachelors, plus i had some modafinil. On last day of msc i discovered nac, and would be confident doing a course now i think, if it was not too demanding.
  13. my daily cant-do-withouts: nac, magnesium oxide, vit b x2, vit d 5000iu. Nac and vit b from bulkpowders.co.uk, vid d and magnesium powder from ebay. A big dose of niacin is quite energising too if you can tolerate the flush.
