  1. If it helps, my mdma depression did pass... Took a couple of years, though I was a very heavy user...
  2. Also, I attribute 90% of my hppd to mdma use, which has no real ego loss, mind loops etc. If anything, it helps you work through your emotions. I went through a phase of trying to fight fire with fire... I've done lsd, mdma, salvia and ketamine post hppd and they've all fucked me up further.... and i consider myself a strong minded tripper who knows how to navigate that world... with 100s of trips under my belt, pre-hppd. No bad trips and dealt with even the strongest shroom and microdot trips.
  3. Not gone, but I convinced myself that they were getting better for a week or more. Then crash. I hope for your girlfriend's sake that is not the case... But you need to stop speaking like what you are saying is fact, not opinion... There are susceptible people here and taking LSD could ruin their lives. You are putting up 3rd hand info.... At least give us some info about your girlfriend's symptoms, previous to this. Or better yet, get her to post.
  4. btw - even if you believe in this theory... You are still playing Russian roulette. If LSD fucked you in the first place, another trip could send you even further into hppd.
  5. I'd wait a bit longer than 2 days before claiming cures and dismissing other people's opinions on this (including Dr Abraham, who has proved neurological changes via qEEG). I have done drugs, post hppd, and had a glow that lasted upto a week where I felt better, before crashing even further down than before. Proceed with caution. At the end of the day, this is a 3rd hand report.
  6. No one can ever answer whether you will be able to smoke weed again. If you got hppd from weed, why would you want to go back there anyway?
  7. hahahaha, how do these myths start? That's a load of shit, don;t listen to whoever told you that. If you got hppd from weed... you will almost certainly get much worse from stronger drugs,
  8. MDMA turned my hppd into something much, much worse. Don;t risk it. Even if 10 people come here and tell you success stories (they wont)... You might be the 1 person that it spirals into hell on earth.
  9. I eat potatoes most days, has zero effects on me.
  10. No one can answer those follow up questions either, unfortunately... hppd is not a linear, easy to determine condition. You might take 10 tabs, be fine... then take the 11th and be put into hell for decades. My advice is, be thankful for what you have learnt with pyschs and that you have come out fairly unscathed. Stay away from mdma too, fucking devil's drug for hppd sufferers. I'd say a bit of alcohol every now and again wont hurt you much... but again, what works for me could be bad for you... go easy, learn your limits.
  11. Yea, i have 1 bitcoin (and now 1 bitcoin cash)... I have 100 IOTA coins, 10 litecoins and 1 Ethereum. Unless something drastic happens, I plan to sit on them all for the next 5-10 years or so and see what happens. I bought the bitcoin when it was $150 and is now around $2700.... Hope that trend continues
  12. You may as well ask "if i play russian roulette, will I die?"... None of us know for sure... Yet we can all tell you that it's a stupid idea. I might offend some people saying this, but mild hppd is a walk in the park... Something you can easily live with for the rest of your life. Severe hppd is one of the worst things you can ever experience. Is an 6 hour high worth that risk?
  13. If you symptoms went away before, then they can go away again. Stay strong and fight through this
  14. If you are improving, i would stay away from meds.... At least get to the 12 month point.
  15. Same here.... Once I realised they helped me (saved my life, i think), I knew that I needed to do everything I could to make sure I never had to go through withdrawals and stop taking them. As someone who was taking speed and/or mdma everyday for 2 years when i was a teen, it's not in my nature to be so restrained
  16. My neurologist was fine with it, in fact he commended me on my 3 day plan. I have had normal doctors say no though... I just change doctors until I find one that says yes. (in the uk, we have free health care)
  17. Yes, so they are addictive. Heroin isn't addictive if you only take it once a week either. I'm an advocate of beznos a few days a week, but I do that because of their insanely addictive nature. 3 months ago I chanced my luck by going from 3 days on/4 days off to 4 days on/3 days off and, after a month, realised I was getting withdrawals on day 3 of the off days... First time I ever had withdrawals and proof that these pills need constant monitoring and attention. Dosage also plays a big role, due to the large half life. If you take 4mg every other day, you'd soon be addicted. This is my regime now: Lorazepam (2.5mg) - Thursday 6pm Clonazepam (1mg) - Friday 9am Clonazepam (1mg) - Saturday 9am
  18. While I feel your pain and went through a similar thing when I was young, I do have some empathy for them. It is a VERY rare disorder, there is no cure and next to no real research to look through. Better to channel your energy into trying to make people aware of the illness and push for the medical community to do more clinical tests, rather than being resentful because doctors have to take guesses. btw - having no previous addiction history means absolutely nothing about whether benzos are addictive... they are, massively.
  19. Yes, I agree with the above. This is different to hppd, get him to a psychiatrist or neurologist and see what they suggest.
  20. If 4mg doesn;t work, klonopin isn;t for you. 4mg would put me to sleep too.
  21. I'm alot worse when I don't sleep. dp/dr through the roof. HPPD is a messed up disorder. None of us are the same.
  22. Maybe you did have them before? There is a much, much bigger chance that you had them, but filtered them out of your vision. Drugs and medications have no researched link to floaters. Research them. they are perfectly natural. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floater Literally all that is happening is you see hppd visuals, starting scanning your vision every day and start noticing totally natural shit in your vision that you would never normally notice. Unfortunately, once you start noticing them, it is hard to stop.
  23. It could be completely unrelated... We live in a very chaotic world that demands questioning. You might just be a smart, empathetic person that needs to try and work out the world you live in. Chances are you would have these thoughts without drugs/hppd. I would try and turn it into a positive.... You are not just some reality tv addicted, media led fool who goes through life with their head in the sand.
