  1. I think I agree. Anything that boosts GABA in my brain makes me less depressed. https://neurosciencenews.com/gaba-depression-cognition-23748/
  2. My driving is still good. I even co-piloted successfully. Not a commercial flight obviously. Lmao! The eye doctor says my eye sight is above average. How ironic. I was always a decent driver though.
  3. It didn't affect my HPPD or visual snow at all. It didn't make it better or worse short term or long term. For some reason I felt like MDMA isn't the culprit for me. Everyone has different brain chemistry though. Although I only did it twice since onset. Some people use MDMA during therapy to overcome PTSD and some want to make it legal. I can see why.
  4. This post has touched my heart. Honestly I felt way better knowing that there are official articles about this disorder and many people on this forum.
  5. Surprisingly MDMA had no affect on my visual snow and HPPD at all. It did make me feel better subjectively though.
  6. Yeah dude after 10 years of different diets and therapies and meds.... the other day the floor was still moving and warping. I haven't even seen a psychedelic since onset.
  7. Yes I was sensitive to certain noises and lights as well. I kind of became less sensitive as time went on, but it took many years.
  8. Yes HPPD and Visual Snow should be on warning labels of all psychedelics lol
  9. Hey welcome, interesting story. I can't drink coffee or smoke weed anymore and it's been over 10 years. I can't do any drugs anymore besides certain pharmaceuticals. My visuals bother me everyday. I surprisingly can tolerate MDMA but I only did it twice since HPPD and visual snow onset. I can also tolerate alcohol and cigars/hookah but not cigarettes.
  10. I took Cyclobenzaprine for 6 days and although it helps with neck and back pain and it does improve sleep, it did not decrease visuals, anxiety or depression for me.
  11. When Drugs Fuck You Up Forever A Bad Batch of Drugs Made My Eyesight Chronically Grainy
  12. I really recommend Buspar (buspirone) because it decreases my anxiety and panic and improves my mood. Doctors don't hesitate to prescribe it and it's not addicting at all. Rarely has any interactions. It is nowhere nearly as strong as benzos though.
  13. Yes sometimes when I'm angry or stressed out my visuals temporarily increase and it like comes over me in a wave but then my baseline is always less than that. Sort of like a "flashback" I guess but not really.
  14. Trying this tomorrow for the first time. Currently having intense neck and back pain for no reason.
  15. Dude my sensitivity only slightly improved. I don't drink coffee or smoke weed at all anymore. I can tolerate cigars, cigarillos and alcohol though.
  16. Day 8 on abilify and I had to stop taking it on the 9th day because I took theraflu and then I was having uncontrollable rage attacks which I never had before. It also increased my anxiety and visuals. It was good in decreasing depersonalization and derealization as well as increasing prefrontal cortex activity but that's it. I also became way more clumsy than usual and I'm already a clumsy person. Abilify also made me more tired and sleepy. I think for the first time I saw my cigar moving around (probably my first non psychedelic hallucination). My doctor said it's okay if I don't take it anymore. After like 5 days I took 1 mg of xanax and it was amazing how it chilled me out and reduced my visual symptoms as well. I'm gonna go back on the buspirone again because that has been proven to be safe and effective for me. I might try lamictal or latuda next although I am terrified of taking antipsychotics because they seem to permanently increase visuals whereas buspirone and anti-seizure meds actually decrease them. But damn the increase in anxiety itself was annoying!
  17. Have you seen a permanent decrease in symptoms with your high dosage?
  18. 6 mgs is a huge dose!!!! Wish you the best of luck brother!!
  19. Did the doctors tell you why they decided to cut you off completely?
  20. Hey all... new article is out on HPPD that I wanted to share with everybody: 9 years after an acid trip, I still have anxiety-inducing visual distortions that only stop when I sleep
