  1. Yeah man, quit the drugs. I've had HPPD for almost a year and i've realized that the real world is way better than the imaginary psychedelic world.
  2. Great idea! I'm also very good at filming and editing films. Kickstarter would be nice, but i think you need an american bank to use kickstarter. People really need to know what HPPD is.
  3. Hppd has given me speech problems. I have a hard time finding the right words and sometimes i can speak slurred.
  4. I agree with Balance. Sleep deprivation only enlarge all the symptoms, including dp/dr. This week i couldn't sleep for two day which lead to a living hel.
  5. Experiencing a living hell at the moment.

  6. I've watched your videos many times, they're really inspiring and i like the songs. I wonder how your depersonalization has developed over time. Erik, Sweden.
  7. Yes, I agree with Jay1. Could anyone summarize this?
  8. You can get both visual snow and HPPD from drugs, but HPPD is more anxiety, crazy visuals (like walls are breathing or ground is moving), hard to think clear and a lot of depersonalization. But noisy vision and after images often comes with HPPD as well.
  9. Yes, it is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_snow
  10. Hi Funesera! That sounds more like a mild version of visual snow. HPPD is so much more.
  11. My HPPD is so bad that i can only be at home and meeting doctors once a week. My depersonalization and cognitive dysfunction are really bad.
  12. Still struggeling with depersonalization and cognitive dysfunction

  13. Passion, we're in the same position. I've dropped out of school and I barely see friends. Life is freaking hard with HPPD but i hope it will get better with time and maybe make us stronger in the longer run. If your out of options, then maybe you should try keppra. The depersonalization and cognitive dysfunction is the worst and just like you i want my life back.
  14. Great topic, i haven't succeeded yet though..
  15. It differ a lot from person to person. What are your symptoms?
  16. Hi Harry, nice to see more people from Sweden. No i didn't actually notice any difference at all with Seroquel. What drug did you get hppd from and how have your hppd developed over time?
  17. Oh, yeah, that's the worst feeling. I think it's close related to the depersonalization. I often feel insecure and far away from the reality, like walking around without getting anywhere. I sometimes get thoughts like "Maybe i died that last time when i tripped on spice and now i'm dead" or "maybe i'm still tripping, laying there unconscious on the floor, dreaming this."
  18. Have you tried any of them? I've heard that some people get lesser symptoms when they take keppra.
  19. Hi, everyone. My name is Erik and I live in Sweden. I got HPPD after a ridiculously horrible trip from spice in January this year, and this has totally ruined my life. I've dropped out of school due to all the symptoms and i don't see friends anymore. The worst symptoms for me is the depersonalisaton and that i can't think straight/clear. The fact that i can't live a normal life with my symptoms has made me really depressive and suicidal, even though i don't want this to stop me, i can't ignore the fact that i can't think as good as i did before. I would like to get in contact with other people from Sweden with HPPD, especially people who got it from spice and i'm interested in how their HPPD has developed over time. I've been taking Seroquel for several months because the doctors thought that i had a drug-induced psychosis... which were not the case (i had to find out that by myself), but i'm phasing out that medicine now. I'm thinking about trying either Keppra to ease my symptoms or Dr. Abraham's new treatment with a combination of two medicines. My interests are photagraphy, science, poetry, politics, computers and being with friends. Regard, Erik
  20. I don't really understand all this, can someone who does summarize it? I got really bad hppd since February and i'm really desperate for a treatment.
  21. Hi everyone. My name is Erik, i live in Sweden and i got HPPD in February this year after a ridiculously horrible trip from synthetic marijuana. This had totally ruined my life, i can't think straight and everything feels unreal and far away which has forced me to drop out of school and seeking help from doctors, even though there is no help. I got all the symptoms that are characterized for HPPD and this had made me suicidal and i cry every day. I've got in contact with another person from Sweden who also got HPPD from synthetic marijuana, but i wonder if there's other people on this forum who got it from that drug and i'm interested in how your HPPD has developed over time. Erik.
