  1. cool man. what dosage you on boogres? and have you got your vit b6 at the ready? (and how much of that)
  2. Googled some of that shit and the alcar sounds like it'd be a pretty good supp to try. The alpha gpc (sounds like some vigilante superhero group) is basically a choline supplement I think though it may be more potent than your usual choline supps.
  3. I'm on a few supps at the mo. Choline, l-theanine, vit b and c complex, panax ginseng, ginkgo biloba. I like to try different ones out each month. Can't do any harm I reckon. I'm not sure exactly but as the lyrica I've been prescribed hasn't done much improvement my doc said she had a letter from someone she musta contacted saying keppra was ok for me to try. She says the worse thing that can happen is it will do fuck all lol (not in those words obviously), and that a side effect is folk can get pretty down on it. But I was like 'doc, I've been pretty down cos of hppd for 15 years' which she couldn't really have an argument with. And I said if anybody else ever comes into your surgery with this shit think Of me as a guinea pig as it were. I don't give a fuck, I just want some alleviation from the symptoms. She's cool, the p-docs are out there depth but the doc knows there's a condition that's typically resistant to normal meds and I've actually educated her in a sense of the disorder. So I went last Friday, and she said to phone in two weeks so il phone next Friday and say let's get started. Probs try n go 500mg for a week or two n up it a bit from there. See what she thinks. Dunno what anybody else it's worked for has done. Thing is though, I have a feeling keppra works better for folk that have had hppd for a relatively short period of time. Dunno if the fact that I've been 15 years would mean my neural pathways are more entrenched with the fucker than a relative 'newbie'. Only one way to find out I suppose.
  4. As side effects go they sound quite mild. I'd keep on it for whatever length of time you think well that's obviously not working. Weeks, months, whatever? How's your anxiety? Cognitive issues etc? Are you taking it in two lots of 250?
  5. I took that rhodialeau whatever for a month to help me with training in the gym. Seemed to help with fatigue and general recovery in a cns sense pretty well.
  6. Hmm, didn't know that. Lol. I thought cos it was in the racetam family they were all classed as hefty meds. What about aniracetam then?
  7. I managed to buy piracetam online today I think without a prescription. Didn't know that was possible. Is it the real deal?
  8. I want to be the guy banging on on YouTube about Wellbutrin, he looks well chilled out lol. Well, in another 10-15 years anyway.
  9. I'm grossly unfamiliar with them all Cept the fish oil lol. Shoulda paid more attention in chemistry class. And biology, and physics....:/
  10. So what's this sv2 thingamajig it works on? What's that all about then? And ion channels n all that. And glutamate. I get a sore Heid just thinking about it. And vit b6? Why's that supposed to help? Is it just cos that suppresses nervous system excitement that the keppra brings on? In laymans terms English please -mg remembering I have the mind of a child. Lol
  11. Right folks, my doc has finally relented and is going to start me on keppra in a week or so (no word on what dosage etc). What I want to know is (from you guys who take keppra or who know your stuff about it), I've a feeling because of the stupid government free prescription shit they're going to hit me with generic keppra. What's the difference in efficiency (if any). Also what's the best supps to take to potentiate it's effects. I'm really hoping for an improvement, specially in a cognitive sense. I'm even looking forward to 'keppra rage' haha. Itl be good to feel some pure form of emotion for a change. I'm currently on 40mg of (generic) Prozac am, 150mg of lyrica (3 times a day....which I assume will be dropped for the keppra), and 2mg of (generic) klono every 3 or 4 days. Any input will be greatly appreciated. K
  12. Me too, I've to contact my doc in two weeks to begin a trial of Keppra! About time.
  13. Full of abject apathy....

  14. Hey man. I'm the same, getting swapped from doc to phsych with them both refusing to prescribe keppra. A drug that's been proved to decrease hppd symptoms in a large percentage of those with the disorder. It's like stupid amount of red tape to go through to get prescribed something essentially not that harmful. You'd think I was asking for plutonium lolly pops or something. My doc did prescribe me clonazepam though which helps somewhat. Supposed to be 1mg a day but I find that it takes 1.5 to 3mg to actually do something so tend to go a few days inbetween. Uk docs are overly prescribing the generic version of meds though cos of the free prescription thing which fuckin sucks.
  15. My problem is down to both acid and MDMA. But I always knew when to step away from acid use (or at least I thought so), and in the end it was the MDMA use that surely put the nails in my hppd coffin so to speak. But on a good few occasions I took acid and MDMA at the same time, or mushrooms And MDMA. Take your pick I suppose. It's amazing how ignorant youth can make you.
  16. Not sure, I certainly didn't make my work the next day that's for sure. Infact I can't recall talking to them when they phoned me the next day asking where I was. Think I mumbled something about a migraine lol. Then I phoned back hours later when I was slightly more compis mentis trying to explain myself. I said I took what I thought was a 'herbal' sleeping pill that mistakenly was a pharmaceutical grade one that hit me for 6 and thats why i hadnt adhered to the 'off sick procedure' haha. A modicum of truth to it I suppose.
  17. I got it cos I think I had an underlying personality disorder where I created a 'shell/shield' to ward off any excess stress cos I had mega insecurity as a teenager. Even before drug use. Drug use just helped me strengthen the shell so nothing could get back out. You need an outlet. Apart from that a few mini dodgy trips and one particularly bad one (eyewitness accounts cos I was so drunk also I can't remember it) where I was pacing the room for hours not speaking and constantly putting my hand up to my mouth?!? Pretty glad I can't remember it actually,k but remember it or not the subconscious stored it for sure. And a month or so after that a couple of X nights where I developed a migraine that threatened to split my brain right down the centre line. Then a particularly stressful day and a half e at night, and next morning...BAMM! So mostly stupidity and denial I was fucked up led me to it. And the rashness of youth.
  18. I had two 7.5 mg zoplicone a month or two ago. I was out like the proverbial light. In a coma for 15 hours. (But then that was with 10mg Valium, 3mg klonopin, 300 mg tramadol and 6 tequila sunrises and some gin. Lol. But took it by itself a few days later. Certainly works f or sleep for me personally as I sleep pretty badly cos of my hppd, but so does the diphenhydramine route work as well as I've found recently.
  19. At near baseline like at the mo my worst symptoms are still cognitive/attention and focus, fatigue, lack of (deep) sleep and just the non solidity look of everything. At its peak it's everything in the hppd manual.
  20. Sounds like a great idea. I'm looking forward to it allready. Scorsese look out!!
  21. What kinda opiates jay and where can I get them lol. Tramadols about the closest I can get to an opiate. My addictive personality would suck it right up though I suppose.
  22. Hppd is like brain herpes! Lol. In curable and gets worse in times of stress.
