  1. Yeah, sounds like a win win situation. If you don't get anything too noticeably good it won't be doing anything noticeably shit if its purported to be as an all rounder as its meant to be. And anything that stimulates nerve growth factors has to be good in my 'big book of hppd shit' . Read its good to take with alcar (which I've got at the mo)....kinda synergistic. Also what about bacopa monnieri (or whatever) anyone tried that.
  2. Try piracetam or aniracetam or or any other racetams lol and choline. Seems to help my focus and concentration a bit. Look them up.
  3. Plus I'm not really in 'flashback' (hate that term...so ambiguous) mode at the mo. I only really get that when I'm right bad or full on relapsed and I'm neither at this moment in time.
  4. I have it a bash for a month rene, but even on just two lots of 250mg a day my depression n mood swings were just too much. Had to discontinue or I woulda jumped out a window. It did have some good moments though. Enough to make me try other racetams, I had a stack of 800 mg piracetam tabs for a month and felt ok, no migraines slightly better cognitively. Now I've just ordered aniracetam (only 30mg powder form to try it out) and stack It with more piracetam. Might try keppra again in a year or so when I'm not in the middle of a SAD depressive phase. And my docs just put me on Wellbutrin 150mg a day so trying that too for focus n get a bit of zip back instead of being a lethargic douche. (Hey check my 'Americanisms', either I've been on this site too much or watched too many films).
  5. Dunno but I had a look at It and it looks good. Specially if you hit the gym a lot. I've had my testosterone checked recently and it's not very high (which it never is this time of year cos SAD hits me like a motherfucker). This stuff looks good.
  6. Anyone taken that lions mane mushroom supp yet? Any good?
  7. I take up to 250 mg of tramadol at times for a laugh (or did trying to turn over a new leaf).and it gives me energy n a fairly good euphoric feeling. Bit of a crash but nothing too bad. Maybe better with extended release ones if poss.
  8. Yeah mate. Big time. Hope the op went well, youl be up n about in no time
  9. Yeah, keppra didn't do it for me. Even sleep wise on 500 mg a day and I was taking 200mg of vit b6. But what doesn't work for one will work for another. Good luck man.
  10. I. Don't drink coffee. Never liked the stuff, but I can drink energy drinks. And have been a bit addicted to them to be fair. Certainly not good for overexcited neurons. But when I was taking the keppra for a week I realised I really didn't want any red bull, monster or whatever and even though I've stopped taking keppra the need or compulsion I had to drink energy drinks hasn't returned. Still have a couple a week but not the 3 or 4 a day I was having.
  11. Yeah. Think your random bloke in the street wouldn't notice much difference in generic v brand but us hppdrs are more sensitive to the small changes in chemical formula. It's like coca cola or walmarts own make cola. Youl get some weirdos that go ' I prefer the Walmart brand' but the vast majority like the original n more pure cola. (I'm saying Walmart cos I assume your American lol). As soon as I'm prescribed something new and I go to the chemist to pick it up these days my heart sinks a bit if its generic.
  12. Yeah. The negative thoughts it gave me made me stop but I did have a few moments of clarity. Which made me try to stay on the nootropic road by taking piracetam/aniracetam etc, cos they don't give me the mad side fx. (Well, piracetam doesn't not tried aniracetam yet). Want to go down the dopamine route too cos I've tried plenty serotonin enhancers without it making me feel I'm right out the hppd woods. Gotta try everything I spose. But I'd never be prescribed sinemet or that, not in Britain but Wellbutrins worth a wee try if its a dopamine uptake enhancer. In a low dose so I don't get to antsy.
  13. I had an op on my face when I had hppd when I was 25. It didn't make my hppd worse, n I was on strong anti-bios and morphine for a couple days. But I was in a semi decent phase of my hppd back then.
  14. Me neither. But do thee things tend not to go hand in hand with tremors/anxiety type? If its a,phchostimulant type. How's the keppra going anyway boogres? Didn't do it for me :/
  15. Had a look at the site. Does look pretty cheap for 100mg bag.
  16. LJ....yeah I've had a fairly big relapse in the 15 years of having hppd and a few 'Mini' ones. It's a long time to be fucked up for sure but I'm still here, still kicking, still thinking. Still keeping my sense of humour and hope for the future. That's all you can do my man.
  17. I doubt it lol. My brains as irrationally wired as it can be, but il give it a bash. Any shitty feeling can only be temporary. Recognised side effect of cinnamon is a depressive mood? Never heard that one. But yeah, my brains totally not as good for some things as it is for others as I'm finding out slowly but surely.
  18. Yeah Brendan. I've just finished a bottle of acetyl cystine yesterday and I've another one to start today. (600mg capsules) First one was holland and barrats own brand (shitty cheapo british health food shop...alledgedlyl lol) and this ones Swanson so if I can give all those a try then maybe see a slight improvement. Keppras too much on my ol nervous system, think my body sees it as a toxin which is a shame cos I had high hopes for it so I'm not bothering with it. Maybe again in the height of summer when my immune system etc is naturally a it's strongest anyway. And yeah, il go with alcar first mike see how that is. So, alcar, NAC and aniracetam n see how it fits , n hopefully a small dose of webbutrin. Il just be pissing pure chemicals.
  19. Yeah. Cognitively speaking as long as your not brain fogged up to the max thn a lot of the other symptoms of hppd don't seem quite so heavy on top of it eh. Thing about ALCAR though is I read it thins your hair because of some mad neuro/chemical aspect lol. Vain as fuck but my hairs receding anyway and I don't want to speed this process up if need be. Haha. Spose one a day might no make me a slap head overnight. Might have to miss out on the alpha gpc though cos monies tight but maybe next month. Cheers mike.
  20. Ok. So I'm thinking of getting a stack of new supplements going down the lines of ALCAR, rhodilea whatever and possibly aniracetam as I've just had a stack of piracetam that I'm nearly finished. I'm down to my last ten (piracetam) and I can't say if its worked that much (apart from perhaps a slight cog enhncement) but there certainly hasn't been any side effects as such and as aniracetam is more potent maybe that's worth a try. Is there anything dodgy in these new supps that might be detrimental to my hppd ya think? Plus I'm waiting on seeing the doc (still) about Wellbutrin on top of my Prozac for my lack of motivation, anedhonia, n general apathy that to my mind isn't really connected with my serotonin levels.
  21. Sounds to me like you've just had a massive boost in serotonin levels (cos of your circumstances and the fact your hppd was slowly improving anyway) which has kicked it into touch. Pleased for ya man.
  22. Pretty sure my klon is generic which is shit. I want the Roche stuff!! Most I've took in a day is 6-7mg. (With drink too though). Must admit when I hol a good few months ago I had ran out of klon so hit the local pharmacy who only had Xanax (which I had never taken). I took 20 .5 mg pills over 2 days and it was much more enjoyable than klono in a 'buzz' sense. Every benzos better than klono in a buzz sense. But klono does what it says on the tin and quietens down your overexcited neurons.
