  1. My favorite part about these responses is you just berate everyone, but then completely fail to back ANYTHING you said or cover the flaws that were mentioned of your ridiculous theories. LMAO. Also you poor comprehension is extremely evident in most of what you say. To be completely honest, you haven't done a single thing productive in the research for HPPD, so you have literally no room to talk. Im easily aeons beyond you in understanding, you cant even see the flaws in your own reasoning, I dont think you can even see past your nose frankly. Based on everything you have had to say here, and your extremely negative derogatory and degenerative attitude, I dont think anyone appreciates you here on this forum. I can debase all the points you said easily, too easily, but I can tell you wont comprehend any of it, so I wont be wasting my time, I think the other members are fairly intelligent enough to see it for themselves. Especially the ones who actually make a progressive effort in trying to cure the disease, instead of ignoring it lmao.
  2. The only people suffering on this forum are the ones forced to look at your avi ?
  3. Demylination shows up as white matter lesions, that would be classified as reversible. Neuronal loss is considered non reversible, but there is potential by finding something that stimulates neurogenesis. Long distance axonal loss is considered non reversible, and most likely non recoverable even with possible neurogenesis techniques if they were found.
  4. Its a possibility, brain lesions on MRIs are simply... neuronal or axon damage/loss, which if its the case here is most likely to do with excitotoxicity. There supposedly is never anything that shows up on HPPD MRIs, but honestly a few members here have reported microlesions.
  5. Basically what you say about caffeine making your symptoms worse tells me that you have definitely developed HPPD. ayahuasca contains DMT, it will definitely worsen your HPPD I would recommend never doing it. im sorry that your goal has been primarily relvolved around hallucinogens, but there are plenty of other activities that you can enjoy. Question, the 4 grams of shrooms when you took them, is that more than usual for you? Do you typically mix weed with hallucinogens or was that the first time when you had your bad trip?
  6. I dont have an answer for what happened, clearly some people can try ibuprofen, also he didn't leave any other posts following. Its possible that his visual snow and other disturbances returned. We really dont know.
  7. Maybe there was a misunderstanding? I was just saying that his symptoms of the event of just that one night seemed to be related to that of migraines, clearly his visual snow and other disturbances prior were due to the LSD.
  8. That is really weird. I dont know if I have ever taken it. Im scared to try it lmao. Has anyone else tried it? I hardly doubt that that person had recovery from the Ibuprofen, sounds more like he had a migraine.
  9. How bad were your lesions? It seems like a lot of HPPD sufferers are also reporting white matter lesions related to migraines.
  10. There could still be random cases of reactions to hallucinogens, just be cause you dont have common allergies, doesn't mean youre not allergic to one thing. LIke people allergic to peanuts.
  11. Mythos, I'm really having trouble putting together how the study you posted applies to the theories you have. All I can gather is that you believe that because there aren't increases in internal heat, that there is no neuronal loss? Do you believe that that is the only potential circumstance for neuronal loss? lmao. Also, I dont think you completely understand the condition of PTSD, which based on your posts, doesn't surprise me. I dont think you understand that study either. I think its really offense to try to demotivate people working hard trying to find the cause and cure for this detrimental and very real disease. I'm glad you'll never be a physician, because the best advice I can see you giving cancer patients, is to ignore whats happening to them. Its not real if we dont acknowledge it correct? Lmao but those patients will still die. Honestly your theories are so profoundly flawed that all I can assume is that you wake up every morning believing its not real to FEEL better, not actually become better. Which if that is your way of handling it, thats fine with me, but dont go around trying to criticize people trying to help themselves and others in a REAL way in a REAL world for a very REAL condition. Also you should not speak of your "theory" as definitive, when in fact you have literally zero proof for anything you have said.
  12. Yah I’m really starting to think this is it. It would make a lot of sense. The question really at this point is does the immune response damage neurons, or does it just learn to continue abnormal reaction.
  13. http://www.dpselfhelp.com/forum/index.php?/topic/61962-neurologist-suggested-an-autoimmune-connection/ a great deal of HPPD sufferers report severe allergies and immune disorders
  14. Ive never had a problem with alcohol, and if anything it helped with the anxiety.
  15. Yah mine had "migraine" related abnormalities as well. Do post up your results if you get a chance.
  16. Presumably. But I hardly doubt it.
  17. Wow! That’s really 8nteresting thanks for posting that so much! It’s very beneficial that we all share everything we know about ourselves and the condition for a chance at better understanding this. wtf ill add that I had asthma and eczema when I was young. So also autoimmune disorder.
  18. No, unfortunately your anxiety is mostly going to be linked to HPPD from LSD use.
  19. Also there is a case here of 8 people who took INSANE amounts of LSD by accident, most went comatose. None died, but 5 of them during a one year follow up claimed absolutely no long term effects.... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1129381/?page=2
  20. Heres a really interesting article talking about how LSD gets stuck in the receptors. Something that I once theorized is that maybe the neurons dont have the capability to break down all the hallucinogens and they remain in the receptor sites. I considered it a bit ridiculous, but this article gives credence to its possibility. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/lsd-brain-cells-held-tight-hallucinagenic-psychedlic-drug-lysergic-acid-diethylamide-scientists-a7547461.html “Once LSD gets in the receptor, a lid comes over the LSD, so it's basically trapped in the receptor and can't get out,” Professor Roth said. “LSD takes a really long time to get on the receptor, and then once it gets on, it doesn't get off.”
  21. No Im not familiar lol. I wasn't aware that this forum has been here since the 90's.
  22. Im not familiar with HPPD causing the types of disturbances you're experiencing. I do believe you most likely do have HPPD to some degree. There could however be other brain abnormalities at role here. Its not out of the question, granted, its not definitive either. To be completely honest some of your symptoms do seem to be schizophrenia related, like the auditory hallucinations/hearing voice/etc. I know as far as HPPD goes the anxiety is extremely overwhelming, real, and detrimental. One of the biggest problems with physician I believe is not only their lack of information on the topic, but also even if they were to be familiar with it, theres little to nothing they can do but prescribe benzos. Anyways Im not sure what your questions are??
  23. How long have you had it for? Yah the anxiety for me personally is the worst part.
  24. My visual snow literally went away. I was glad when it did. I pretty much never get DP/DR anymore. What a fucking nightmare. Im still plagued with anxiety though. I have to be extremely careful what I eat and drink, too much coffee sends me over the edge. I can no longer take herbal supplements at all either. I used to take a lot. I do miss those days.
