  1. Lol yeah i guess it's the same with a hangover just generally being ill sets off my hppd
  2. Do you guys find you visual snow to be really thick I generally see mine more when I'm looking at things such as a plain wall the sky if I'm looking at patterns or something with more detail I don't notice it as much
  3. Yeah nighttime sucks especially when this shot flares up when I'm driving headlights from other cars are a nightmare and its not too bad if there's some lighting like walking down a street but if Im walking through a dark lane or park somewhere like that it's like I'm blind lol yeah Im going to go to doctors and try and get them to treat the symptoms more than the condition itself just outright ask then to try me on different medications if they refuse I'll just keep trying till I find a doc who will
  4. I have found keeping as busy as possible being around people and having conversations helps me forget also playing ps3 watching a movie reading a book anything really that keeps the mind busy I've also had really bad stomach trouble and literally have been obsessing about that as opposed to hppd and actually feel like the hppd has got a bit better good luck dude hopefully it goes away for you soon
  5. I had or have a slight social anxiety mines more with talking to chicks I been reading a great book introducing nlp all about being confident and successful lol
  6. Codeine and some beer always sorts ne out lol and doesn't affect my hppd I only have about a pint though
  7. Yeah definitely think I'll give magnesium a try I'm sure a lot of these things are good for many different things so can only help In trying anyway
  8. I definitely feel very positive about beating this problem and I think positivity is definitely a key role I heard of a stud which proved people recovering from illnesses or operations who had something to look forward to would recover quicker than those who didn't as soon as I get my stomach op done and out the way I plan to start exercising again regularly healthy diet full of the good supps vits and minerals also try meditation and yoga and am going to find a good phsychiatrist or neurologist who will try me on different meds even if I have to explain to the doctors my symptoms to treat more than my condition
  9. I've also heard valerian root thrown around here and there
  10. Thanks guys that's really helpful I'll definitely be trying some of this stuff
  11. I've always had it to be fair just ever since I done the MDMA whenever I've had it they been dark and scary lol last night freaked me out I've never had the auditory hallucination before only the visuals I was obviously in the hypnagogic state although the thought someone had broken in then the thought I was being haunted run through my mind before I rationalized even then I was scared to go back to sleep as I didn't wanna have another fucked up hallucination so I stayed awake until like 5.00 am
  12. Ever since I done that MDMA every know and again I get fucked up shit happens when I'm trying to sleep literally just now as I was falling asleep it sounded like someone was banging the shit out of my bedroom door this obviously scared the shit out of me left me with chills and feeling quite fucked up what the fuck is this ?
  13. just a quick question to ask people what vitamins, minerals and supps help with this condition
  14. Yeah I have been completely off drugs for about 8 months now before that I only smoked a bit of the reefa every now and again like once a month and developed this through one try of MDMA 18 months ago you get used to it after a while I'm struggling to do the things I need to ATM like exercise and wanted to start yoga and meditation but got other health issues waiting to have a stomach operation
  15. Yeah man all the best you can't let this thing dictate what you will and and won't do and what you can and can't I always think going blind would be so much worse than this lol peace
  16. Lol yeah it's weird I don't know it's as if my brain is remembering what a laser looks like when someone just waves it around and then projects it through my eyes but now it's so faint I can hardly tell its there
  17. Ok so when I was having my really bad trip I was hallucinating that there was something holding a laser pen under my door and shining it all around my room after 18 months and still sometimes I get the same sort of hallucination it's more so when it's dark at night if I have my eyes open its as if I see the same thing as if someone is shining the laser pen dot all around however its barely noticeable is this a flashback I'm confused as to what this might be its so strange it's hard to explain
  18. It's funny you say about migraine aura I Suffered with migraines ever since I was a kid And would have the aura ie static sensitivity to light starbursts then after I got hppd these were all the symptoms I retained permanently
  19. For it to go away you want to give your body and brain the best chance to sort it's self out exercise eat well read take your mind off it as much as you can I remember when I first had it I found it scary and was permanently worried whether I'm gonna be stuck with it so I know it's harder than said to just take your mind off it but if you can manage too it really does help
  20. Would you say it's slowly decreased over time or you've just woke up one day and visuals are better I find when I'm ill visuals seem 10x worse
  21. Well no guess I can't be hundred percent positive I know other chemicals can give you the same effects as MDMA however I did have the uncontrollable affects of euphoria when it first hit me felt like it rolled through my body the feeling whils on it was like a permanent orgasm haha literally better than sex but I had the most wild and vivid hallucinations uncontrollable gurning I'd climbed a mountain and then fell into a deep dark hole lol I'm guessing it was MDMA mixed with other stuff
  22. Thanks mate 15 years is a hell of a time I have pretty much got to the stage where I've accepted it now so i haven't let it get me depressed lifes way too short and there's still so much I want to achieve fuck letting this ruin it anymore I still want to do everything possible to help cure this or make it go away which in essence has proved to be good as I have stopped all drug use cut back on alcohol to literally once in a blue moon and practice very healthy living ie exercise and good food and sleep actually set me on a path of becoming a personal trainer was going to start yoga and wrestling to also help combat this shit until I got ill with a stomach problem which I'm waiting to have an op for then I can start exercising again also I found reading has helped a great deal especially with DR
  23. I had this during my first week after the trip from hell during my first and only MDMA experience but what I believed it to be was sleep paralysis it's where your in between sleep and being awake but your dreaming and what your dreaming you can see you can also feel paralyzed which I felt the freakiest experience I had was when I was lying there and I felt as if something hit me with a stick when I opened my eyes or turned around can't remember which it was I just saw a figure disappearing sort of like if you wear to imagine something disintegrating into dust and just blowing away this was like a week or 2 after I'd been on any drugs scary shit
  24. This is interesting I read somewhere a man had something implanted or done to his brain during an operation for his hppd which effectively cured him whilst I was researching this condition it was a Swiss surgeon I think I know it was done in Europe somewhere but didnt pay any attention to it as I didn't see it as a viable cure as brain surgery for one seems very risky and scary plus the money it would cost and the difficulty in finding someone who would do this operation on the nhs for you wouldn't happen it mentioned in the article about how what he did had lowered the electrical activity I can't really remember
