  1. Well now you're not lost anymore LostGirl, welcome to the forum!

As a matter of fact i suffer from each and every one of the symtoms that you listed, though not as extreme as you describe them.

Some users report allevation of visual symtoms and dpd/drd with antiepileptical benzos such as keppra and klonopin (kepora can be a lifetime option and klonopin may only be used on occasions where you really need to be on your a-game)

There is a huge amount of good information on this forum so read up and listen to and share experiences!

  2. Ive made up my mind that I am not going to do anymore hallucinogens. But, if do recover from my mild case of Dp/Dr visual snow and colors blending together, would It be safe to smoke weed with my friends and family?

Damn most of the newcomers are reckless, let me put it like this: Recreational drugs gave you hppd in the beginning, why would you even consider to keep doing them?

You only live once, give yourself an endurable time whilst you are still living, i am saying this out of my own experience. I read about hppd when i experienced warning signs but i keot on drinking and toking and here i am, my walls are moving, geometrical patterns are forming in the static and my afterimages and traces are horrible.

  3. I would be so happy if my vs went away, and when i think about it the shady stuff you see instead of vs, i defenitely think it was my first symtom. On the few of my good days i've had post-hppd i have also seen it, the vs covers it up atm. And now i haven't been drinking for four days and i really notice a change in all symtoms! And since you're not drinking it's maybe obvious that you're improving. I'm gonna try to have some months without being drunk but no alcohol at all will be hard :(

  4. Hi, since you haven't had it for a long time yet you have a good chance of recovering. Don't freak out about your symtoms, new ones will certainly pop up but keep in mind that they are certainly 100% normal and you are just starting to pay attention to them (like flosters and streetlight halos), i myself've had bad starbursting ever since i was a toddler.

Stay strong and we (us?) here on the forum are always here fo support and advice!
