  1. I think of this as well, there is a condition called post traumatic vision syndrome which has symptoms that is like hppd and the cure for that is wearing sunglasses for a long time so the brain as you say, rehabilitates.

  2. I think with dp/dr.... It is good to have something that grounds you back to earth.... For instance, when my mind starts floating about and I feel like i'm not in my body... I just put my hand on something solid... a wall or railing, for instance... This connection seems to snap me back into the real world a little bit.

I sometimes shake my head really hard from side to side too... Seems to snap me back into reality (do this in private!)

Maybe metalheads are always free from dp/dr prior to headbanging all day long :P

  3. my tracers have gotten alot worse for seemingly little reason... i wave my hand in front of my face almost daily. and its gotten longer and longer. :/

Same here, all of my symtoms seems to stabilize to a new bassline, more symtoms are setting in though, this week i have been experiencing bad ghosting :(

  4. Dim light and the colour green. A couple walls are painted sorta. Grass green in my house. Mad visual snow and ghosty patterns on em

Weird! My room is coloured lightgreen and i barely see any vs on the walls :)

Noticed this morning that my after images are hellish when i wake up, looked at my cellphone and for 20 minutes i could still see my cellphone with my eyes closed.

  5. hahah why did a big mac give you a panic attack? Big mac guuud :P and yea mine definitely wouldva gone away pretty quickly and i never woulda gotten dpdr had i not insisted on smokin day in and day out for 5 months post hppd, not to mention the opiates and hard drinking...it was after smoking an e with a friend and gettin reallllly wasted that i noticed everything getting worse. Before that I could be sober for just a week and id notice half of my symptoms really decrease. After this experience, not quite so.

I wonder if my hppd wouldnt have escalated to it's present intensity if i hadn't kept drinking and smoking after my bad trip... Damn ,these thoughts are killing me.

  6. me and u are lucky. we dont really have any reason to worry, apparently its common most cases of hppd can clear up within 6 months to a year. wev had it what, 2 almost 3 months and wer almost back to normal. if we get to a year and we still have it, then we can cross that bridge but right now, we stand a healthy chance, just stay sober and thinking positive

You are right :) I went to a family bbq and ate so much meat, i barely have any snow, Blue sky! Yay!

I dwell over hppd waaay to much...
