  1. I was ordered by a neuro psyche as well as my GP for MRI of my brain. It was quite a trippy experience and also quite emotive. I have not received the official medical diagnostics yet, tho from what I can see it really spun me out and made me laugh out loud.. It looks like a creature living inside my brain.. Also one of my eyes is very dialated and the other is constructed. There also seems to be an object in the centre of my brain.. Anyhow will wait for a professional report... Though the images are pretty cool.. Hope you enjoy lol

  4. For the past nine years since being diagnosed with HPPD, I've been on a hell of a journey to find the right medication but here's what I've been consistently taking for several years: Lamotrigine 150mg once daily: Primarily for my BPD, but it's also helped with HPPD symptoms to some extent. Clonidine 0.5mg as needed: For managing sleep, works great. Pregabalin 200mg twice daily: This has been suchhhh a game-changer for my anxiety and sleep issues. It's the best medication I've tried for my symptoms. but it does come with a downside of weight gain because of the bottomless pit of an appetite it causes :// But still, I swear by this drug, it really saved my life. After struggling with debilitating anxiety and DPDR, I found a psychiatrist who took my HPPD seriously and this medication was such a turning point in my life. I do want to say though, withdrawal is pretty rough so always be careful. I'm new to this site, so I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences with pregabalin or if it didn't work for them. Let me know!!

  5. I'm pretty open minded about the supernatural, but on this one, i'd say a definite no.

  7. Facts: All 'symptoms' of hppd are experienced by people without hppd or have never taken psychedelic drugs. People who think have hppd fixate on these 'symptoms' as a result of health anxiety about their past drug use, they become overly attentive to Normal visual disturbances that others dont care about and create their own condition. All people whose posts I read in hppd forums either exhibit classic signs of severe anxiety, or have found relief via treatment methods and drugs that mirror those used to treat anxiety. Native American indians who take peyote NEVER get hppd. Why? Because it is normal and acceptable in their culture and they feel no anxiety about the use of the drug. How do I know this? Because I have taken lots of psychedelic drugs and once thought I had hppd, then realised that I was being overly anxious and what I was 'seeing'was normal, I'd seen plenty of times before taking drugs and chose not to worry about it. EVERYONE. STOP STRESSING. YOUR VISION IS FINE. YOU DO NOT HAVE BRAIN DAMAGE. YOU HAVE SEVERE ANXIETY, MAIFESTATING ITSELF AS HEALTH ANXIETY OVER YOU VISION.
