  1. 1. If LSD was so common 60's, why nobody from that time reports it? 2. Could HPPD's have an effect on eldery mental health or life expectancy? 3. Don't you sometimes feel like invading a water distribution company and throwing LSD at the reservatories so everyone in your city trips for a day making HPPD a major health concern? ... What? 4. Had something to say but I forgot. ): 5. Good night. ;*
  2. HPPD is a neurological dysfunction. Throwing molecules at your neurons won't fix them. It's like trying to fix a damaged computer punching it until it rewires by itself. Won't work. Use our brains. There is still hope, but not on drugs. Only nanotechnology, assossiated with vast knowledge in brain inner workings can be useful. That's why I ask. Let's collaborate with this cause.
  3. Fish Oil never made any difference for me. Vitamin C when I exercise sometimes give me a very good physical sensation and good mood for a few hours that I don't feel when I don't take it. Changed in nothing my HPPD, though. The only thing that helped my visuals was klonopin, but it fucked me more than helped. I think you should give off of curing this disease with molecules.
  4. 1998 I'm pretty sure it's klonopin. I'd recommend you to stop it. I know how good it is for HPPD but after seeing what LSD could cause to you and considering everything we know about benzos, cognitive deficit, etc, do you really trust it for the long term? I, too, since HPPD, feel considerably less energetic. But I realized it comes from my depression. When I get out to do a physical activity I can perform even better than before. That's why I love caffeine. It does increase my visuals, but it boosts my motivation, mood and makes my mind more clear. A good tradeoff. The opposite of klonopin. It's the reason you are not seeing me around so often anymore. Anyway, do you workout? Do you eat well? Do you still do exercises often?
  5. Sorry I have read a few times and couldn't understand what you are saying. I'm not recommending anyone to do those drugs without professional supervision, I'm just asking if someone have already had an experience with them.
  6. There's certainly a connection between them. At least try talking with your doctor. This is the most certain combination I've heard of so far so I would love more reports on that.
  7. I'd just like if this forum was more known between HPPD'ers. I imagine how many HPPD'ers doesn't know about the side or doesn't even know what they have...
  8. Has anyone tried them? I've heard a few people got almost symtom free after a combination of Tolcapone and Levodopa. Tolcapone seems to be very dangerous to the liver but apparently one use is enough to know if you will benefit from it.
  9. Wow 1998 very nice. Can I make some attempts with you if I get a place on the medicine university? ATM I can suggest Tolcapone+L-Dopa, it's a very very promising combination. It can be very dangerous if you dose wrong but you only need to try it once to know if it will effect you.
  10. I'm surprised how there's almost nothing around there about testing for HPPD when there are very simple things that can be done. For instance, access www.google.com, look to the google logo and rapidly look outside the monitor, moving your eyes not your head. If you can still read the google logo outside the monitor, then you have palinopsia. Another simple test is staring a light source like a lamp for around 10 seconds and then counting the time until you can not see any trace of its negative afterimage (keeping blinking until it disappaers). I noticed this time is around 90 seconds for me and less than 20 seconds for anyone else. I'm sure there are many more tests like that and I would love to see some official tests being developed. I think they can be useful mainly for measuring the intensity and progress of your symptoms.
  11. I hate them more than anything in this world. I still love the idea of what I thought they were when I ingested LSD but it is nothing like it.
  12. I have already taken clonazepam a few days, some days .25, some days .5, a few days 1.5, 2, and once I took 4mg. Just to test the effects, with many days between attempts. None changed my HPPD significantly the day after, only just before falling asleep in doses > 1mg.
  13. So bad. Well, I'm in favor of us trying every kind of drug until something works.
  14. Do you think that hoping for a cure in our lifetime is realist?
  15. 1998 about Klonopin, what's the best way to take it, on morning or before bed? Does taking it before bed have noticeable effectst the day after? What's a withdrawal safe dosage? Will using it only once or twice a week prevent withdrawal? Answer if you know, thanks.
  16. Great thread, thank you very much. I have already done the ketogenic diet several times before I even knew what HPPD is, for other purposes. I have attempted doing it a few days ago but noticed no improvement. I'm not sure I achieved the ketogenic state, though, because I ate some things that could possibly have some carb. I will try it again soon. Is Keppra a strong drug, have it had strong or long lasting negative psychoactive effects for you? Any idea of how I can get a prescription for it where I live, as no medician here knows what HPPD is?
  17. Just wondering, if weed makes you worse then a cannabiloid antagonist could make you better?
  18. And I promise soon there will be two of us trying. So he has HPPD too?
  19. I don't relate to anything described on that paper.
  20. Working fine for me. I don't like how this side doesn't show in google.
  21. True. Good luck with your thesis David and thank you very much for everything that you are doing for us.
  22. Didn't get it, was that a reference to clonazepam?
