Anonim Posted August 10, 2023 Report Posted August 10, 2023 I thought what benzo would be good after rivotril and I thought about diazepam, do you have any advice?
Jay1 Posted August 10, 2023 Report Posted August 10, 2023 Clonazepam is better, imho, but diazepam helps a lot too.
AF44 Posted August 21, 2023 Report Posted August 21, 2023 I agree, clonazepam is better, though I will say I’ve not tried diazepam. Clonazepam works better because it has a longer half-life.

Spartan Posted August 31, 2023 Report Posted August 31, 2023 On my opinion Diazepam is very mild compared to klonopin..
AF44 Posted September 5, 2023 Report Posted September 5, 2023 Hey Yes, I just read that diazepam does have a longer half life. I’ve never been on it before, only clonazepam. When I first learned about HPPD, everything I read suggested clonazepam as the best medication to help with symptoms, so that’s all I’ve ever taken for the symptoms.

Did you match the dosage using a benzo dosage calculator? The general rule of thumb seems to be 1mg clono = 10mg valium I found the effects very similar when using the dosage calculator
Spartan Posted September 6, 2023 Report Posted September 6, 2023 Yes your right Likely a much lower dose I say this tho cos I'm on a very low dose of diaz now and it literally feels like nothing compared to klon
AF44 Posted October 26, 2023 Report Posted October 26, 2023 Yeah, I’ve only ever tried clonazepam for my symptoms and it has worked super well over the years.
