freakedout1234
Is there an anxiety / depression drug that causes the least harm to HPPDers? one that is better than the others? Seems like everything's made someone worse. Does the wellbutrin or buspiron work on 5HTA?
cosmiccharlie
I hesitate to give any kind of medical advice here since I am not a doctor. I will tell you, for me Zoloft (Sertraline) has been extremely helpful for me in dealing with anxiety, depression and OCD. Everyone is different on some level, responds differently and seems to have their own flavor of HPPD. Consult with your doctor and do what your gut says is the best advice I can give. So little is known about this condition that an accurate and definitive answer probably can't be obtained yet. Kaiylar
It's a herb, but Bacopa has been the most consistently helpful thing for me without detrimental effects long term by far. See this vid for more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKQFw3Zigyw It has NGF and does a bunch of other things. Jay1
5htp worked ok for me, no side effects and got me out of a depressive slump. Others have reported side effects though, so if you try it, go slow and steady. Inositol also seemed to work, for me.
