Hi again Doc prescribed me alprazolanum and olanzapine(he never heard about hppd) . Did someone tried this antipsychotic drug, whether all of this kind of drugs are harmful in our case? I forgot about pulsation of my head and whole my body and tingling in feet. It's probably caused by nerves( autonomic part of my nervous system might be slipped out of the control because I feel it since I had strong anxiety attack) . I started benzo treatment from this day, will see what is going to happen after few days. Did someone felt chemical aftertaste after years of suffering on hppd? I felt flowing down fluids from my left temple and this chemical aftertaste when I took a drug. I have a feeling as if visual symptoms of hppd are hidden for some reason. Does any of you experienced this? when I suspend my sight on the screen of the computer for short moment I can see it on the wall. What is the name of this symptom? EDIT: Benzo helps me a lot, I'm able to do simple things in a shorter time(such as organize my mind to take towel, underwear and take a shower). Strong anxiety attacks are almost gone but rest of my symptoms remain at the same point. Besides sunny weather seems to have curative effect on hppd. I got klonopin from my friend, I will try it after alprazolamum treatment.

Hi guys. I do not notice any of HPPD symptoms like you, except: anxiety syndrome light in dark room seems for me diffrent? breathing walls Normally my jaw is shaking whole day. EEG showed some anomalies. According to other labs my brain is not damaged. When I concentrate my eyes on one point (I can't do this too long, tears come to my eyes, my pupils are growing, bloodshot eyes, I hear my brain ) I'm sure, that I notice auras around objects, visual snow, strange flavor( I felt it when I took the drug, I also felt fluids flowing down from my left temple ), CEV(as long as I concentrate on one point I notice CEVs and others more clearly) and probably others. I'm able to feel anxiety(definietly caused by drugs) after waking up. According to psychological test I lost insight on my emotions. What do you think? I was writing this topic an hour although my English is not so bad. EDIT: I will try high dose of klonopin as soon as I get prescription. if I'm so nervous that I don't realize it klono will help me. Which of the symptoms klonopin reduces and to what extent? That is my question for this moment. I need your support guys, I don't remember when I last time felt good. I'm suffering very long. I was thinking about euthanasia. I even bought a cylinder of helium but I can't do this to my mother. I tried to live with that. I found a job but I could not handle in my condition. Somehow I started trade but it will not last too long.

In my opinion it's anxiety. When i didn't get proper sleep or I'm just tired i feel tension headaches. I tense my muscles in stressful situation(social fears). I'm trying to get proper sleep and when i wake up I get from bed as a mummy, very quick. I'm trying to do so manual work.This attitude helps me to start better day. I don't give myself time to thinking. My advice, concentrate on proper sleep and don't waste your time for thinking. Regards

"HPPD does not show up on MRI or EEG". That's right but every hppd is diffrent as i know. My EEG showed some disorders after few strong anxiety attacks 2 years ago. That's bother me because i have strange symptoms after that to this day. My jaws are shaking 24h per day. I was thinking, is it part of my hppd now or this is other topic. Can HPPD evolve or something? in neurologic way, visuals are still the same

EEG, MRI, Tomography was used. EEG showed some disorders. I spent 3k euro minimum for doctors and others. I didn't get proper help, I was an epileptic for my last doctor. HPPD diagnosed by myself, after 2 years i think. Concentration and reading are my biggest problems.

I have one more question to you guys. EEG showed abnormalities to somebody? i think yes but i want to be sure. about Citalopramum and klonopin I resigned from this treatment. I will try sinemat very soon.

It was worst time for me, my anxiety level was on really high level. I took Alprazolamum for one month and i was a man without fears.

I did not know that something like HPPD exist. My last doctor said that i have got epilepsy, another that im just depressed. After 3 years i noticed that i have HPPD, I consulted on this matter 3 days ago with my present doctor. So i can't answer you in what way does citalopramum helps me, because it works after 4 weeks 20mg citalopramum once at the morning 1mg clonazepam at the morning and evening. Generally blurred vision really bother me i feel like a brainless person.For example I'm reading a book what is hard for me and suddenly I can not concentrate on one word. Concentration costs me a lot of effort. I quit school, I'm jobless, in depression and i got social fears. Now i have to go abroad to work. I don't think that i can handle it. I forgot - clonazepam makes me calm, that's all. Thanks for your time

My name is Mark, I'm 23 years old. I took the drugs just twice, 3 years ago. I have got HPPD and emotional problems because of it. I would like to know to deal with this. What helps you? At the moment I'm taking medicines such as Clonazepam and Citalopramum. What should i do, any good diet? I'm totally newbie so i will be grateful for any advice. My symptoms: I have big problems with my concentration, it's hard for me to concentrate my eyesight on something, view melts.I'm angry that i can't read as usual. I know that people have much worse hppd. Do I have bigger chance to cure? Beside in opinion of my doctor i have got anxiety syndrome and depression. Personally i run a lot and i exercise my brain. I solve sudoku and other puzzles and it helps me. Is it possible to be totally cured? My doctor said that isn't possible but HPPD is unknown term in my country.
