  1. Fuk salvia !! I wouldn't take that drug if my life depended on it !! Ibogaine already did something similar to me where I am stuck in a sensory and emotional deprived fish tank style of hppd !! I couldn't imagine the consequences if I was to take salvia !!!! I don't think I'd be able to move, talk, walk or function at all I would have been completely blasted into a different universe with no escape

  2. haha, i know what you mean... It sounds so over dramatic, yet it is about as clear as I can describe it.

I'm looking at a white wall now and can see, amongst all the usual static and green/blue streaks, what I can only describe as 3D cogs spinning into eternity. They have been there for 4 years now, since I stupidly tried Salvia, thinking I had reached the "wall" of my hppd.

With hppd, you can never allow yourself to think "It cant get any worse". I found out after 15 years that there was another level. I'm sure there are plenty more to unlock, if you want to carry on with drugs.

Fuk jay!! I feel so bad for u!!! That's fuking awfull !! I honestly don't want to know wat more cud be unlocked!!!! I prefer to keep that door fuking closed forever !!! OMG u tried salvia with hppd !!??? It just have knocked u into the land of no return?? Did it make u get dissociated and detached permantly ?

  3. Forgive me may but I couldn't stop laughing when u said "nightmarish proportions" my laughing is a kind of disbelief shocked laugh coz it's so unbelievably true and frightening .....I know if I was to do some drugs it have a drink of alcohol I wouldn't be able to fkn walk and the walls wud start breathing and possibly things would begin to morph

    Fuk that..

  4. I don´t think he/she meant that people on this board are confusing HPPD with either psychosis or schizophrenia, but rather that doctors, psychiatrists etc might misdiagnose as this disorder is quite rare and not well-known.

I think you a right ...my mistake perhaps I read it wrong

  5. Many of us on here are not confusing hppd with psychosis and schizophrenia !! There is a big clear difference between hppd and a serious mental disorder

Hppd is some kind of a PHYSICAL brain dysfunction ..not psychological at all. There is a physical reason why many of us cannot take medication, supplements, coffee or alcohol because they usually aggravate hppd and that isn't normal.

Flashbacks don't last....hppd does! Hppd is a chronic permanent perception shift.

My perceptual distortions are severe and I know that they are distortions, people with psychosis and schizophrenia DONT actually know something is wrong they are totally delusional

Why don't u share with us what your "hppd symptoms" are before coming on here and telling us that we are confusing hppd with psychosis or schizophrenia..,

  6. Several years ago tried neurofeedback.  It involved a 4 probe EEG, a screen and headphones.  Had to eventually stop as things started to get worse.  The 'instructor' kept saying "you're a very strong person".  Finally asked why and was told that normally "a person with that level of wave activity would be hanging from the ceiling screaming ... and better get some meds" as it is a serious problem.  Couple weeks later got Gabapentin.  Haven't tried feedback since.

    Well, that's my feedback, ...

So did it ultimately worsen ur hppd visual ??

  7. BigPapaChakra

Im sure ur research and knowledge is very well referenced bit in my experience neurofeedback was not for me at all.

I did get the adverse reactions and they lasted 3 days and after that 3 days my perception disorder actually worsened and it hasent gone back to how it was before I started neurofeedback...so fuk that !! I seem to be highly unlucky in the medical and science field of recovery for my hppd.

The only thing that has worked for me is john of god everything else has fuked me up

  8. That's an interesting response. I personally wouldn't touch another hallucinogen ever again.

I have done ayahuasca 8 times before getting hppd from ibogaine ...ayahuasca was beautiful but I also had a terrifying experience with if. I can't see how it could help hppd, I agree with what they are saying about having a head injury and mayb energy being blocked in the head but that could just be because our brains got fuked and fried from taking hallucinogens so how can the energy flow properly again after that ?

  9. Hey guys,

So I went to my first neurofeedback session on Wednesday and it's been 3 days since, I trained for like 6 minutes in the first session. The following is what I experienced:

When I went to drive home I felt disorientated, spacey and tired. When I got home I went to lay down for a while and then later on I experienced extreme agitation, I felt really angry, I had bouts of mania, I felt extreme boredom. I also didn't manage to get a restful sleep that night, then the next day I still felt spacey and dissociated...it's like my body is slow to follow what I wana do

It's now Friday and I'm still experiencing this awfull feeling of slackness and disorientation!! My doctor thinks we need to train for less the next session and that because of my injury it may take an adjusting period to the therapy. But fuk that I don't wana have anything more to do with neurofeedback!!! I hope this fuking space ess feeling goes away coz I can't fkn do shit!!

Has anyone else done neurofeedback before and experienced what I have ??

  10. Hey that is so great ! Unfortunately tho there are many different types of hppd from different styles of hallucinogenic drugs

But I think the usual style hppd from LSD looks rlly promising in this study :)

What about hppd from dissociative drugs like salvia..ibogaine etc ? The ones that involve dp and dissociation etc ? And what about the other hppd symptoms like star bursting, breathing walls, morphing and intensified colours ?
