  1. I would say stay away from all meds aside from gabapentin or prebagalin. From my experience anything that works even slightly just makes it worse when you get off aside from gabapentin(which tbh doesn't do much but gets me through the day and hell I just went 4 days without taking it just for the heck of it) and pregabalin(or so I heard.) IMO aim for something that will help you just to get by and try not to solve the problem completely by just masking it, there is no cure just ways to ease it and imo take the route that will benefit you in the long run which I don't see that happening with benzos or nootropics. Me personally I am just looking to get my mentality back, with that I could careless about the visions. Although I just received lutein and zeaxanthin at a 25mg/5mg single pill dosage which is fairly high and see what that does for my vision, I just started kanna today at about 100-120mg 2x a day so will see how that works out in a few weeks and i got almost a pound of kratom coming in. I can say for the kanna it has helped my anxiety but I feel a bit restless but I took it late and the effects were so subtle nothing mind blowing but I do expect some good results, it is claimed to be 10x stronger then st johns worts and it is said to be a ssri but I don't really believe that. I guess to sum all this crap up imo get some gabapentin if you aren't happy go with pregabalin, reason I say gabapentin first is because it isn't as addictive and pregabalin is suppose to make you feel pretty damn good from what I read which could turn out to be bad, I guess what I am trying to say is less is more imo. I have been off 30mg valiums for almost a month, I may only sleep 5 hours a day now but I feel 2x better that is for sure and gabapentin made getting off valiums a breeze. Well good luck
  2. That's the test I was talking about that they test you with to see if it swirls on you, don't know why I thought it had colored boxes but I am sure that is the test with the grids. White backgrounds jack with me a ton too, I had to turn the brightness down on everything and when I lose focus(which is very fast) the letters sway up and down and side to side and this mostly happens on bright white backgrounds. I use to also get a ton of head pressure, would feel like my brain was going to explode, tbh I thought I was having a brain aneurysm lol some scary fucking shit. I still get them time to time but I mostly just get migraines now. Idk about the pink tent, it could be your eyes adjusting to the light, what color is your walls, ceilings and floor? They could possibly be reflecting light in a pinkesh tint? lol probably not the best theory. And the lines idk why you are seeing them, maybe when you wake up try to keep your eyes closed and open them under a blanket. Do you have a textured ceiling? I just ordered a bunch of crap and am broke atm but as soon as I get some spare cash I am going to get a Lutein and Zeaxanthin supplement, astaxanthin supplment, bilberry supplement and spirulina supplement on top of my fish oil and flax seed I am already taking. Sounds like over kill for eye health but I will try everything to take all this excessive stress out of my vision so my other senses can calm the f down.
  3. I took anadrol 50 for a little bit but not long enough about 9 months ago, I was going to start working out again but I couldn't get off my subutex at the time and was working 70+ hours a week so I stop taking them. Wouldn't mind getting back on dbols and some sustanon 250 though! I agree with you 100%, if roids are taken correctly like pills taken for no longer then a month, don't drink alcohol, tons of milk thistle, tons of fish oil etc etc the basic stuff you really shouldn't have any issues just keep up with your blood work. Also from my experience I never gotten roid rage, I mostly just felt motivated, energized and more on beat but there were a few times I did feel maybe too much confidence lol. Not saying roid rage isn't real, my buddy had it bad but it wasn't ever towards someone he knew. Other then that keep some clomid/nolvadex/arimidex around and you will be fine. As far as visuals I didn't notice any affect on them as far as positive or negative go or any change in my psyche. Now I don't recommend taking steroids but what you do with yourself is your business.
  4. Go to todaysvision.com and click the eye condition videos, it is under the macular degeneration. I thought it was something else and I am almost certain you don't have macular degeneration but don't take my word.
  5. They recommend 2 mg zeaxanthin, I would probably take 6 mg ^.^
  6. Has anyone ever used lutien or zeaxanthin? I read peoples reviews saying it has helped them with eye floaters, photophobia, afterimages, halos, eye sight etc. etc. but I really don't trust peoples reviews on Amazon. I was hoping I could get some good reviews from people here if anyone has ever tried these 2 together. Thank you
  7. Yeah that was kind of what it was like on his t.v., it was some lines going vertically and horizontally with some shaded boxes and a dot in the middle and the whole thing would swirl like that. Btw do you see floaters, flashes of light or any other visual abnormalities? And you don't have schizophrenia, it is quiet different. Schizophrenia is usually associated with hearing voices, not talking to yourself but like voices that come from nowhere basically and visuals of objects like people or animals.
  8. Nope. I go back to him Saturday for a follow up and I will make sure to ask him or see if it is back on the t.v.
  9. \Hey I was just at the optometrist on Saturday and when I was in the waiting room I was watching his little T.V. on the wall. This was actually on his little eye care program he had on and it was caused by a eye problem I believe. I told him about my eye floaters which are constant and was happening when he was checking them, he put a bright ass light in my eyes which made them go away for a few seconds but while he was looking around he said I don't have eye floats that he can see, he said my migraines are probably causing it which I believe because they went away when I was on hydrocodones or subutex. So just because I saw what you experience on a eye care program at my optometrist doesn't mean that yours is a eye problem, but it could be something to look in to. Edit: And they way the checked was you look at a dot on paper with like lines and filled in boxes(don't think about it to much) and it was at the middle of your field of view where it would happen would twist. Don't remember much more then that.
  10. Yeah bro, having schizophrenia is like having auditory and visual tourettes. That is basically the proof. If you aren't hearing you are worthless and seeing a picture tell you to hurt yourself(maybe on the extreme side but it happens) you don't have it. Clear that thought. And the truth about HPPD is the visual symptoms we get are not abnormal, there are a ton of people who experience some of what we see at some point in life. We just happen to see these all the time, there are many visual abnormalities and the onset is basically immediate. But I can promise there are people who experience one or more visual that you, me or anyone else here experiences.
  11. I have a buddy who is schizophrenic, he is always hearing voices and shit and is paranoid off his ass. He was sent to Green Oaks which is a clinic for psychiatric care because he was talking to......nothing and lost it for a day. If you aren't hearing shit, don't have delusions like you got raped by a goat and he took your wallet and really believe it or aren't paranoid(different from anxiety) off your ass like looking out the windows, you probably don't have it. I am basing this off of my buddy who was a meth addict, fortunately he is in jail right now and that will give him time to try to get his head straight and off the drugs! I would say yours fits the description of HPPD
  12. Hehe, alright I was just curious as to how many people where smoking weed when this crap happened? Just going off of what I know and see, most people don't do one drug when they do drugs. So exactly what drugs were you doing? I was on xos(which were dirty xos they were pipebombs with mdma) and smoked some hash that was on top of some high end in a bong. I was perfectly fine until I smoked that's when shit hit the fan. I continued to smoke like 5 days after that which just made everything worse. I know most people on here can't smoke which makes me think how many people were actually smoking when their symptoms came on? Thanks for your time!
  13. Getting dressed and combing your hair are the big ones for me, if I put the effort in looking nice I feel I MUST go out and do something. If I don't get dressed and start watching t.v. and what not I just stay home so that is a big one imo, getting dressed and looking nice = going out. Also minor improvements sound awesome to me at least you are not going backwards, I think HPPD and all the symptoms that come with it, whatever you got with your HPPD, will just vanish one day, I don't think it will be a slow thing.....might be minor improvements but from what I read from other people it is basically a spontaneous thing where you just snap out of it. 4 months is a long time who knows maybe around the 6 month mark is when the magic will happen. I have been preaching about Gabapentin which seems to work fairly ok, I don't see it becoming addictive or habit forming because I only get mild relief, nothing major but I will take anything! Works good in replacement for benzos, I kicked a 30 mg valium habit, was on 2+ years and I kicked it in a few days but am experiencing some w/ds but they should be goon soon Just continue what you are doing and stay clean it will pass. Really I read more success stories from people who quit all drugs completely vs people who try to treat it, just takes time, could be 3 months could be 2 years who knows. I feel pretty confident if everyone was to quit all drugs and eat healthy and work out and stay occupied HPPD and all symptoms would pass but unfortunately that is easier said then done. Take care buddy!
  14. It is shit! Lol, I am only taking Gabapentin now, I quit my Valiums which my doctor wasn't to happy about since I went from 30 mg to nothing in a few days. I got off the Tramadol because I didn't want to deal with any more withdrawals and I was on that for like only 3 weeks. My anxiety has shot through the roof I have been homebound for the past 5 days but it is slowly going away. My symptoms have ramped up pretty bad and symptoms I though were gone while I was doing opioids have came back 2 fold. I am going to wait it out another week and see if I get better if not fuck it I am going to make some Ayahuasca tea and drink a tad bit everyday. I don't know if it is like LSD where you can only take it like once a week or it really won't do anything but I don't plan on taking enough to make me trip or even close. I will probably try to trip on it after like 5 days of constant using just to see if I can but that will be the only time I try to trip on it. I will also add in Lutein and Zeaxanthin, people say it helps with their photophobia and other visual symptoms like afterimage and everything else. Other then that I haven't gotten any benefits from any supplements I am currently taking, I will just stick with vitamins, fish oil and a few other things but drop the nootropics if I don't get any benefits from them next week. Thanks!
  15. That is picamilon i take 250mg 3x a day, it is kind of speedy to me. I read that lower doses are more sedating like 50mg-100 and more then that is stimulating. Maybe I will try a lower dose tomorrow.
  16. Like a tingle or a push in your head like pressure? I always get a rush or something in my brain and it is usually followed by migraines, also stiffens the right side of my neck and usually this is when my anxiety increases and visuals can get strange. Kind of feels like I just took a big blow of some cream, like someone has their hand in my head or a worm is crawling around in there. I haven't had them for almost 3 years since I was abusing hydrocodones and was on subutex but since I have been clean for the past 2 or so months they came back and are way worse now. A lot of my symptoms I thought were gone have came back and are even worse since staying clean. Also I get tingles in my body when this happens, it feels kind of euphoric but not in a good way since it isn't suppose to be happening. God I need to get a EEG!
  17. I would get off of the kpins and jump to gabapentin. Gabapetin may not work as well as kpins or lyrica but tbh if I could take back all the drugs like the valiums and opioids I would. They help while on them but you wan't to get off eventually and when you do it sucks. So since you don't seem real deep in benzos and been clean for a while I am guessing I would try to do the least amount of damage and do gabapentin. Probably got anxiety, depression and your mind is just all out of wack, I was a very heavy xo and crystal user, I wouldn't say it matters how much of a drug you do, it comes down to how many times you use it that creates addiction. Like smoking 1gram in 1 day won't be hard to come off of compared to .2 in 5 days. If you were using daily or even a few times a week you would get addicted. I would say you are going through withdrawals/dependency which can last around a week to 6 months and can take up to 2 years to recover but I highly doubt it will take that long. I wouldn't think it is HPPD though because you don't have really any visual symptoms. Me personally I would talk to the doctor about getting off benzos, unless that's your thing, get on gabapentin, avoid drinking and any other drug for a long time or forever. I would think you should get back to normal or close in a few more months if that. If you can't sleep try temazepam 30mg which is a benzo, drink a big glass of white grapefruit juice with a ton of pulp in it a hour before taking the temazepam, that was the only way I could get temazepam to work for me and to last all night, also temazepam is one of those things where you have to let it work kind of like ambien, But if you can sleep naturally that is better because taking a sleeping aid or benzo for sleep becomes habit forming and you will feel like you forgot how to sleep completely. I was on temazepam for 3 years and it has been a month being off and tbh I wan't to go back on because my sleep is so poor but I will give it another 2 months, it would be nice to go to sleep easy and stay asleep throughout the night naturally!
  18. Sounds like anxiety and/or depression. Stay away from the speed and mdma. Speed never made me grind my teeth the day after but for some reason opiates do. I have been grinding my teeth for over 2 months now since I have been off, so maybe addiction too? Idk how much you were doing of these drugs or for how long or if you have even quit, but from my experience addiction can last several months, not the few days to a week occasional users report and addiction can wear and tare on you even after months of not using.
  19. I've been getting some really bad migraines and no OTC medicine seems to be helping. So I got to looking and came across Cafergot, which isn't available in the U.S. and Sumatriptan which I guess is. Has anyone ever tried or heard of anyone on either of these 2 medications. The migraines happen like 2-4 days a week and can last from a few hours to all day long. Usually it is one spot in the middle of my head or my side temples, neck pain and various symptoms occur when I get these migraines. Symptoms change from migraine to migraine but mostly it increases my anxiety, gives me tunnel vision, fatigue, my eyes are already sensitive to light but they get even more sensitive when I get these migraines and tingling are the most common ones or sometimes I just get a migraine and feel sick, like phlegm. So after taking a ton of different OTC medication with no success I came across these, Cafergot, which led me to Sumatriptan since Cafergot isn't available here. Has anyone tried either of these? Have they helped with migraines? Any difference in your HPPD symptoms? If I had to take Sumatriptan what would be the difference between that and just making a Ayahuasca brew and taking a small sip on a daily basis? Thanks
  20. Mucuna, kratom and green tea is a fairly common concoction. I guess they interact with each other? Haven't tried my sinemet with kratom but the kratom I got atm is crap. I got like 10 grams of kratom left which wont do anything, might if I get up and get some white gfj, some 100-25 sinemets and green tea, guess I can combine it all tomorrow? Wish I had decaffeinated green tea and it was a extract, the thought of having to put more green powder in my mouth grosses me out and I ran out of caps for my press
  21. I got this cyst on the right side of my neck, this happened the very next day(or possibly the same time) I went into lala land on some bad ecstasy which is the cause of my HPPD. The night it happened the right side of my neck was hurting, blood was being rushed to my head and it seriously felt like my brain was swelling, just complete delirium. Now I've done asked my doctor about it and he says it is a cyst, you can't see it and it can only be felt. It is hard but not rock hard, seems to grow with stress or some medications and various problems can cause it to what to me feels like swells up. I have had it for almost 3 years now. About the size of a dime and at times it will feel like it is almost gone and the next minute it gets bigger and harder, it can't be seen even at its worse it is under the skin. The exact location is right below my skull on the right side of my neck, basically where your edge up is. Now I was told this cyst is on a stress vein when I went to the ER before. The cyst doesn't hurt but at times when it grows it is like I can feel it? but with minimum pain. But this will cause my neck to hurt, give me migraines, and can even hurt my spine around the base of my skull. Like any doctor when I asked about it he just said "it's a cyst" and really just blew it off. I had a cyst on my hand before that you could see and I smacked it with a book and it went away, my gf hit me in the back of my head with a book several times which I am sure she enjoyed and I couldn't pop the cyst. I will bring it up to my doctor the next time and tell him I want it gone or he needs to check into it. I was just wondering if anyone has anything they might know about it, it is pretty deep in my skin and I don't know if it really is a cyst or not. Are there anyways to remove it myself or should this be checked/done professionally? Thank you
  22. Are you saying you see what could possibly be ghost or entities and when you close your eyes you see people look down on you or some alien like beings? *Please oh please don't tell me I'm the only one* When I am really tired or just zone out I get like this in dark rooms. I see a *cough *cough dragon all the time too when I close my eyes, isn't very detailed but I can make it out using the rest of my imagination. I believe the silhouettes of people and objects I see come from my when I first seen them which was when I was on various stimulants and downers for several days and me and my buddy seen the same exact shit, a shit ton of meth monsters outside chasing us, throwing bodies over walls crazy shit, ever since then I seen stuff once in awhile. This happened after I got HPPD and I am sure it is just one of those things when you experience it, it doesn't go away.
  23. It probably just made you focus to hard on your surroundings. I never had problems with stims but I use to be a speedracer before this so idk. ^And agreed I swore off caffeine.
  24. Hell Tramadol w/d stories scared me that's why I quit soon lol but I came off of much harder drugs. I think the w/ds are harsh when you are mentally addicted and feel that you need them. Gabapentin doesn't do anything to me besides the first day I took 2100 mg my standard 30 mg valium a 2 mg xanax half a gram of some scale powder and a ton of beer lol felt fine while I was sitting down but felt like a noodle when I got up haha. Last time I get jacked up in awhile though. Tramadol is some scary stuff it effects to many damn receptors and it is like coming off of 4 drugs at once.
