256 Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 I'm already taking 2 grams of lions mane a day to boost NGF and I have recently discovered ashitaba which is supposed to also boost NGF as well as overall wellness. I'm hesitant to order any because its freakin expensive but If anyone can tell me some posetive results I'll pull the trigger on some of this http://www.amazon.com/Percent-Ashitaba-Powder-3-52-50/dp/B002KMHX60/ref=sr_1_1?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1441713359&sr=8-1&keywords=ashitaba+powder&pebp=1441714421063&perid=1JSCB4MQ76R5NMS3XFJQ My current meds/supplements: Clonazepam 0.5mg twice daily Lion's mane powder 2g in morning smoothie Vitamin C 1g in morning smoothie Astragalus extract 250mg Krill oil one gel cap not sure of dose Magnesium one gel cap not sure of dose I like to think all of these are aiding in my recovery seeing as my HPPD I mild when compared to some of the people on here but its difficult to tell because my doc just upped my klonopin dose to the point where my visuals are reduced enough for me to have a grip on my life and continue with it "taking full time engineering classes and pledging a fraternity" aka can't be having anxiety and panic attacks screw with my studying. My symptoms: Vitreous floaters - seem to be getting better with time but were apparently due to a posterior vitreous detachment coincidentally when my hppd started according to my retina specialist. Although I'm sure hppd makes me notice them more. Blue geometric pseudohallucinations in the dark and on walls - DEFINITELY HPPD note: clonazepam makes them less noticeable and not dance around. The rest of my symptoms are mild and not so bothersome so I won't list them to try to keep this post short. In conclusion I'm about 3.5 months in and I feel confident that I will recover and it will just take time and patients. I'm finally learning to accept it and regaining control of my life.

256 Posted October 5, 2015 Author Report Posted October 5, 2015 I ordered the Ashitaba and have been taking a teaspoon daily in my morning HPPD meal replacement smoothie. My symptoms seem to be getting a little bit better but Idk if its the lions mane, ashitaba, noopept, klonopin or just time.
Bugger Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 hey man, your symptoms sound exactly the same as mine, particularly with the HPPD only being in the dark/on blank walls (I get real faint blue tie dye shit movin around), lemme know how you go with it as im very slowly improving being on an SNRI. I'm yet to start taking lions mane etc.
Jay1 Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 256, until you remove Klonopin from the equation, you will have no idea if those other things are doing anything, or even if you are getting better. Klonopin masks HPPD symptoms, but is simply not a long term solution. I would taper down and see where you are at.
umit Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 i see also blue light spots in the dark its year 3 and i still see it buth i dont give no more attention to it its seems to be a part of my visuals for ever I'm already taking 2 grams of lions mane a day to boost NGF and I have recently discovered ashitaba which is supposed to also boost NGF as well as overall wellness.
