  1. I imagine if we all got it from lsd alone, it would be easier to find patterns... But I guess alot of us used lsd, mdma, shrooms, speed, coke, weed, opiates, etc etc that make the variables pretty crazy... Then add into the mix differing psychological issues, outlooks, upbringings etc...

I've never really believed in a standalone disorder that is HPPD... Just a collection of various mental/neuro problems that some of us drug people are unlucky enough to get.

I'm agree with you, Jay . What do you think about candida?

  2. I have palinopsia or seeing tracers when anything is moving, snow or pixelated vision, colour pumps moving like as lava lamp when I have closed leyes, geometric patterns un the wall/closed eyes, vértigo, moving walls, and of course brain fog.

I'm in my six day on sulpiride and I can say good and bad things. First of all, is a neuroleptic which try to fix your anxiety, and for that, I suppose I feel almost normal, which is the best part of the med. I have more short-term memory and think cleary (can hear and understand conversations and give normal answers without seems like an idiot although dp is still there), is how being conscious or your speech limitation and your brain is working to trying to fix the dp problem. Desrealization, for me, 100% gone. I haven't vértigo, dizzines or feeling in moving again.

The bad thing is the libido. I haven't gains of sex lol. You live better with cognitive&visual problems but the lost of libido is the worst. Before hppd, I could have sex all days. The second and more important bad thing is that med is a neuroleptic and the treatment should during a few months and not all hppders have the same reacctions to drugs.

I think is a good option, if you just want a sligh for organizate thoughts, sign to gym, need to think clearly... but don't long-term treatment, for side effects and lost of libido.

I can keep you inform about my treatment, if you needing.

  3. Hi people,

I wanted to ask if somebody had tryed that medication, Sulpirida, or other neuroleptic, and had have the same success than me.

Sulpirida is the first neuroleptic that have been used for mental disorder's patients, in the older "madhouses" of France.

I know, the majority of us are dissapointed with neuroleptics, that can to make things worse, and I thought that. Last summer, one day I wanted a benzo and I for mistake, I caught a neuroleptic (called Etumina) and first I was raged, but then felt OK, no brain fog, visuals reduced.. so maybe could be a way? I thought.

I gone to phsychiatrist last week, because my family were seeing me saddy, and I hadn't nothing to lost. Waiting a doctor that wouldn't believe me, I get surprised when after hear all of my history, he said to my mum that I could "have" HPPD, although he never had hear some about that.

Then, he said, under my point of view, one stupid thing. I could get cured touching a neuroleptic. First, I wanted to discuss for not touch, saying that hppd is a chronic condition... but my mum can't think that and I supposed, why not to try, If I get fucked, I only had to stop the med.

I'm in my 6 day of HPPD treatment (LOL) and for my surprise, almost of my symptoms are lifted. Brain fog better, visuals are still there but can't notice them, etc. OMG. And is not placebo, I know the same of good that you how fucking is hppd.

The bad think is that a neuroleptic should't been taking more than few months and the lybido is gone for buy potatoes (a joke) but maybe, if you only just want to get a little time to order your thoughts.... If there exist a long-term med that does that effects, it would be fantastic.

I'm not advicing to took that, only sharing my experience. Take care, José.

I'm taking x3 daily, one after each lunch.

  4. In my opinion, effects for hppders and non hppders are a little placebo. Healthy relaxed people can say: oh yes, that tea's cup is relaxing! But, now, the majority of hppders, that almost of us touched drugs and experienced a lot of different effects and should be very difficult to see any "improve" in our condition...

    Do I have explained me?

  5. Oh, you don't have palinopsia?! Or just see it at night? If not, you are luckily! Although, the worst symptom for me is brain fog, or mild autism, how I like to call it.

When my hppd started, I was a heavy strong hash and sintetic weed smoker (I had my first trip and was a bad trip 2 months before) and all my symptoms were unamageable. Now, I'm doing much and I rarely get angry for visuals. I hate the brain fog and I'm tryng to get off by differents ways, and I'm winning!

  6. Oh! I thought you were talking about pot. What's effects do you expect from that tea? You refered muscless relaxation, so, do you have pain or just that you are looking for is relax.

Are you doing any sport regularity? Take me informated about Kava! I'm gonna to sign tomorrow to gym, and if you have good news, I will try also!!

    Good lucky guy!

  7. Hi, donedoof. Sorry for that you're living, bro. We have experiencing problems, in my family, falso. Muy grandma is coping alzimer, my mum with breast cáncer and me with hppd/cfs/lyme what fucking be. My litte brother is sad for all of that, but we are doing better now!

I had a hard football match today and we son! My partners give me congrats for my good game and I drunk one beer, did two shoots of slighty pot and smoke a few cigarretes for celebrate the good moment, obviusly, with a lot or dangering and being quiet. I'm also taking 1mg or xanax the days that I'm doing sport (only two days per week) and I'm sure that I couldn't take any pot or beber if I weren't taking that low dose of alprazolam.

I'm not advicing you of touching any drugs, I've been sober for a good 8 months, but I think also we have one live, so, one chance to be happy in that world.

Have you some benzos? You can try to smoke a cigarrete, just fews, and if you experience anziety or worsering hppd symptoms, just take one!

Big hug for you, bro. I'm going out of that shitty nightmare. My favourite phrase, double work, double reward.

    Take care, José.

PS: I was a heavy tabacco smoker (and obviusly, pot) and I'm smoking a two-three cigarretes for week, just for feeling some that I felt. I experience some slighty improves in dp/Dr symptoms, so, don't worry for smoke a cigarrete! Just, take care if you're an anxious man and take a benzo if you are not right!

  8. Hello xpect, sorry for get your hppd worse.

Yes, I have that symptoms, I think is blurred vision? I suppose that is un relation with visual snow, the snowing causes the visual disturbance called blurred vision.

How many meds are you taking and which are them?

Good lucky with your symptoms and try to not focus in visual disturbances. You can see almost. I prefer that than haven't eyes.

  9. Or maybe that I'm saying it's true, but HPPD is a similar disorder than PPD (without hallucinegic drugs) and have different factors, how, a fried serotonine system (receptores aren't good)

A lot or people, with PPD, as me, have pain, paresthesias, itching, burning, low-grade fever, sore-troath, extreme exhaustion... so maybe the visual disturbances can be connected talking about causes, as extreme funtion or bazo, and the other bad symptoms are forma infections or fungal.

    Hate that shit.

  10. Serotonine is in relation with a lot or PPD issues. For example, can MDMA or others drugs put your serotonine system in extreme form, and opportunities infections that were controlled for your body hurts you permanently?

Can shrooms hurts your digestive tract as a fungal?

I think a lot of people have antibodies of a lot of diseases/infections, and a drug can put your brain paying attention to other things, so, the inmune system can be with any prottection, and some virus or fungal can attack.

    Only supposes

  11. I think the same of Jay. But it's true that are a few conditions that can make you experience your symptoms.

Mine started after took magic shroom, but I have chronic fatigue and low-grade fever, so who know what's happening to me.

Luck in your research and best wishes

  12. VSTheNetherlands, is the autism mentioned in that research?

I think brain fog can maybe autism but un adults. If you have brain fog since you born, every body can't build a properly language, learn, have social skills....

I study a lot the conditions that are envolved with VS or HPPD, and almost all are in commom with virus, bacterias, autoinmune conditions... that are considered possible cause for autism.

Do you know the researchers? Goatsby?
