a success story(kind of) after 7 years of hppd

Recommended Posts

I'm 23 and I've been dealing with hppd for 7 years...

My ideal life is simple and stress free, that's it. My job is meh, but it pays well enough for me to live a simple life. I'm happy as long as I can workout, be with my girlfriend, hang out with my friends, be with my dog, and see my family every once in awhile. That's it, that's literally all I want out of life. I've wanted to simplify my life for a long time, and I feel like I've finally found a balance that works for me. I think I'm ok living with hppd now, and I'm doing incredibly well dealing with some of the anxiety that's come as result of this crap. My symptoms are all still there, but I think I've finally managed to accept them as just another part of my day. Turns out that living true to yourself makes your life better.

There's a lot to be said for living simply and as stress free as possible... I learnt how to cope with hppd when all i really did was surf and had a little business that mainly ran itself... No big ambitions or needs, just peaceful living.
