mistake87
Propanolol helps me with the physical anxiety symptoms, is this considered a 'safe' drug to take?
hppd33
Seriously? This is a high bloodpressure med. If it works in your head its great though.
mistake87
It stops the release of adrenalin and counters the physical symptoms - rushing heart etc. It really helps, just hope it can't make symptoms worse?
noworries
signed in just to say that I took it for a brief period without incident. Be careful though, it's damn near impossible to sleep on so it's not exactly the best drug to take at night (when most of my anxiety occured)
piper83
I got some a few weeks ago. It made me feel calm and dampened my anxiety but also stopped me sleeping. After 4 or 5 days I stopped as was literally staring at my ceiling all night. Was quite good aside from that though.
piper83
May not have that effect on you (stopping sleep).
Mr.50's
I used it for several months, helped with my anxiety a little definitely a safe med and has no effect on visuals
