Its been worsening in paralel with taking magnesium. nepuinthesky Posted June 18, 2012 Report Share Posted June 18, 2012 i allways had slight tinnitus started around the age of 6 or 7. it only gets worsr after partying but it allways settle down the next day. so i dont connect it to my visual symptoms, we are born in the "walkman-age" and i love loud music i think this is connected in some way dunno. mgrade Posted July 2, 2012 Report Share Posted July 2, 2012 I've had tinnitus for 15 years........while i don't follow this advise 100% always, staying super-hydrated is the key; eventually you will see a change for the better. There was some supplements that i had, that worked, somewhat, but I'm not a huge supplement person. It was like COQ10, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, L-Carnitine, you know antioxidants, B vitamins(12), magnesium, oh yeah and some asprin. One guy posted a topic about how he ate MSG-laden foods every day. After researching a link between MSG and tinnitus, he cut the MSG out.
