  1. Ok so very brief run threw since I've already said it many times. Have been on klonopin for 4 years and was at 3 or 4 mg a day(cant remember). Got down to .25 a day and have been there for a few months to a year.i was hoping for better memory etc. never happened memory was still shit and cloudy so a couple days ago I added a quarter of a .25 pill at night. So not much total for a day but upped to like .28 or something

Absolutely fuckin hate my brain being fogged up and memory is awful. I'd love to be able to not have to read or listen to things like 5 times to remember. Can't see a psychiatrist until December and thinking maybe continue at this dose and wait for the side effects of upping the dosage to go away and see where I'm at.

I was doing fine with my taper until I had basically a spinal tap and got a spinal headache where my spinal fluid was leaking. They did 3 blood patches so I'm thinking I'm sealed up cause no major headaches but ever since then I've been feeling more detached and visuals were a little worse so going with the idea coincidence or me leaking fluid effected HPPD somehow a little

So much for brief, fuck. My bad. Wondering what your guys' thoughts were on continuing at the dosage or have any other ideas. Thanks

  2. Thanks guys. Hope-on my dose honestly wasn't as bad as some.there were a few nights that were insane like you seemed to be worried about. I had the worse panic attack I've personally ever had and almost went to ER cause thought I was having a heart attack. Everything just kept building up and couldn't stop it I didn't add anything to help the taper at help. Seemed counterproductive but I'm sure it would help. Yea idk, I mean I know upping the dose would probably be bad long term but those closed eye visuals scare me and fuck my head up really bad. Have a hard enough time sleeping before.you guys know how it is. Can't see psychiatrist in this town until December so stuck right now not sure what the consequences would be if I just upped it like half a .25 a day or what.

Yea the thoughts are great sometimes(unique to people who has this) and then others they're freaky/scary. At least that's how I think lol

  3. Yea basically that except mine stop when I open my eyes and my memory is shit. Messed up. Not sure if upping my dose is a good idea or not. Was on 3 mg a day for like 4 years and am now down to .25 a day so I'm guessing this is what life is like on low dose of klonopin and I'm not liking it lol

  4. Don't know how exactly to describe it. Anyone else get closed eye visual?not colors and everything but actual things mostly scary shit and people.also after I get that sinking feeling I memory is terrible.its the feels like it's been awhile memory issue. Just worse.

Thinking about upping the dose of klonopin a little. I got down to .25 a day but visual are worse now and this stuff is more extreme

  5. Codeine is an opiate and promethazine is an antihistamine.  The cough medicine your doctor gave you is what you mix with alcohol to make "syzzurp" or "purple drank".  I think you will be fine taking it.

Edit: I meant you'll be fine taking the cough medicine, not the purple drank.  That will get you severely intoxicated.

Lol good.just making sure it doesn't include the dex without stating anything on the bottle

  6. Hey guys a doctor suggested promethazine for sleep but I needed to ask if all promethazine contains Dextromethorphan cause that's a dissociative hallucinogen right?and that can't be good.all the prescription says is promethazine and he also gave me cough medicine that says promethazine with codeine.if dex was in it it would have to say n the bottle right?

  7. I was diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy, the onset occurred simultaneously with when I first had an onset of HPPD.  I believe there could be a major connection with either TLE even the most minor of symptoms and HPPD.  I just started keppra to treat the TLE and it's been shown to also alleviate symptoms of HPPD.  Of course this isn't the case for everyone but in the first week I've taken keppra I've already noticed a minor reduction in visual snow and I've yet to have any seizure activity.  Temporal Lobe Seizures can be quite tricky, a lot of the time people don't even realize they're having a seizure while they occur.

I'm also on klonopin 1mg 3 times daily, which I know has a bit of a bad rap on this website but it has drastically improved my life over the course of the last 6 months.

I'm by no means an expert on anything, just a bit anecdotal evidence for you!

Neurologist didn't think much of it now but for other reasons I'm starting to doubt everything about this guy. Also how long have you been on the klonopin?i was taking it for five years and am now on such a low dose so it would make a little sense but seems to coincidental for me

  8. Hey guys I bight 200mg suntheanine cause I've been confused can't think clearly feeling type stuff but about a half hour after taking it I started to get worse in that respct and my memory was shit if I looked at something forgot it immediately so it seemed like it was brand new.

Anyone else experience worsening with theanine?all I've seen it either does nothing or it makes things better

  9. Max dose for L-Theanine was 400mgs/day I believe, though it could be higher.. That's what I adhere to at least.. Can't confirm if it helps my sleep though.

I usually take either 200 or 400 at once.

Things I've found effective for sleep so far: Melatonin, Passion Flower (preferably smoked; more sedating in larger quantities), and possibly Damiana though I have to confirm that (probably trying some tonight again.. I think it's effective but I was dead-tired already). Maybe Magnesium helps too, though of late I've been sleeping quite well anyway so I haven't payed attention. I've also got "Instant Tranquil Ability" (herbal extract blend with several relaxing constituents more effective than e.g. your average OTC 5% Valerian 2% Chamomile etc. tea/pill) which I'll be trying out soon-ish, and I have to test Yarrow again to confirm (hopefully not so much sedating as calming). And if it's real bad some ocean waves/pan flutes/theta waves through my noise-cancelling headphones whist letting my mind wander to wherever it pleases, or I turn on a fan which helps (sound). Also Levetiracetam initially seemed to help sleep but not every night apparently, but that's harder to come by of course. I've also got some 100% Chamomile tea which I need to try out again.

So, as far as sleep goes those are some things to consider. IME there are things more effective for sleep than Theanine.

I was thinking for foggy feeling but melatonin I had some messed up visual every time I took it

  10. Neuro Bliss I believe was mentioned in the following TED talk:http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/en/molly_crockett_beware_neuro_bunk.html

Neuro Bliss is one of the most inferior "brain boosting drinks" I could imagine.

As for NAC; I just posted my experience in the "Supplements that work" thread.

I'm also wondering what dosage you take usually Puppeteer?

Agreed it doesn't work but it actually tastes quite good. Very interested in a theanine trial as my sleep sucks and maybe it will help with the fog.just don't know the regular amount
