  1. Yep, it is. It also helps a lot with anxiety too at lower doses.
  2. Honestly, I am not too sure yet. During the year and 1/2 mark my pdoc wants to start tapering me off it slowly. If the hppd starts to come back during the taper I will continue taking it for a longer duration of time...then try tapering off it once again, and if it returns I'll most likely be on it for life.
  3. Hydroxyzine really helps with sleep! 50mg will knock you out cold.
  4. Thanks I really hope your neuro writes you up a prescription!!! By the way, just remember not to get discouraged if you do not see results right away! It took me about a month to really notice a drastic change.
  5. Good, hope it helps! I don't know why people are so reluctant to try it seeing how it helps so many.
  6. It's working great! As of now I've been on Keppra for approximately five months and all my visuals are non existent. I don't see "sky worms" or snow in the dark anymore. It truly is quite nice! Also, my pdoc and myself thought it would be a good Idea for me to go back on wellbutrin, because the medication has helped me with my ADHD issues and anxiety in the past. I've been on that med for a month now, and it did the trick once again. It has helped a lot with speech issues too; stuttering, mixing up words, saying words backwards, ect ect, ect! Also, the wellburtin hasn't had any impact on my visuals.
  7. very, very true. but again, I rather lose my hand than have this haunting me for life.
  8. No, not really. I only experience "keppra rage" when I forget to take it for a day or two. I wouldn't even call it rage though.
  9. My doctor said only a small percent of people get the infamous "keppra rage", and if you do perhaps experience negativity, the side effect should dissipate within a month. It's just your bodies way of getting use to the medication.
  10. I'm half french and middle eastern, no where near German!
  11. I really don't get why this is still haunting me! ugh

  12. Thanks for the reply, and idk maybe I am being a little too hard on myself, but it just sucks. All I want to do is to be able to talk to people face to face and not worry about saying things wrong or stuttering ect ect ect. It is just so disheartening because my thoughts are so clear within my mind, but when I go to say things I sound like the village idiot. Maybe other people don't pick up on it, but that really doesn't matter because I know I do and that's what counts.
  13. I gotcha now mg! I was sleepy when I was reading this thread >.<- MG I say things backwards still, use wrong words and say words that sound like the word I wanted to say, but not as often as I did a year ago. I use to make a full out of myself every other sentence before I started keppra, but currently I'll make a tiny slip up 4-5x a day. Luckily, no one really notices my slip, unless I point it out.- myrslingerbult
  14. we all need set of massive balls to deal with this bull, regardless of our sex
  15. I totally get what you're saying. Couldn't said it better myself man!
  16. I am always going to play for your guys team, I want to help as much as I can, but I do believe that anxiety that surround hppd is mainly all in your head.
  17. I'll have to check that out! Noortopics are a "drug," that cause no harm to your body as they are designed to allow both hemispheres of the brain to work as one, without any advise side effects. I'll get back to your second question later, I could ramble on about it for hours, but my hands hurt and I am ZzZz
  18. I'll return your msgs in a few days, too busy working long grrrruling hours! plz for give me :)

  19. I'll chime in every now and then, there is hope for all of you. Keppra, exercise, healthy diet, reading and ect..cured me, but one won't know if it will work for one unless you try. Also, I wouldn't spend too much time on this forum, it gets kinda depressing at times..go read a book, go for a walk, just do normal shit guys.
