  1. thanks for updating mate, great to here that.

iam not too much into the med topic maybe someone could say his/her opinion.

but isnt it possible to take a higher dose of Keprra? also maybe it needs time to fully built up.

youcould ask your doc for sinemet (carbidopa here in europe) maybe that in combination with Keppra will decrease your symptoms also much better than keppra alone.

and use the benzos carefully try to avoid tolerance and addiction.

  2. thx mate. but i read this stuff is really dangerous. it was forbidden in europe for 6 years. since 2004 its possible to getit pescribed for parkinson again but no doc wants to pescribe it because of its sideeffects.

so lets take it as a step forward into finding the cause but that will never be a possible treatment.

  3. I do experience something a lot like vertigo and there are many people who say with exercise they feel better. I'm thinking it's because it gets oxygen to the brain. Just an idea.

most people say their symptoms get better while sports. but during a workout your brain has less oxygen because your muscles need oxygen while doing sports. IMO its has to do with neurotransmitters whixh are distributed while exercise

  4. hmm i would say we are the lucky few which are grounded enough to not get a psychosis because of drugs our brain alters in another way. alot of my ex friends are alot more fucked up...one has disapeared and no one has ever seen him again. two got strange psychosis.....

but maybe there is something more a few people of other forums think its connected to aspergers. my teachers always thought i have some sort of autism but was never tested....

  5. I did the pinhole test and experienced something REALLY weird. First of all i've noticed that my eyes are really red, bloodvessles crawling all over them. Anyway i did the pinhole test, i saw only a little ghosting (I was looking at a lampscreen) but my whole visual field was covered in what looked like small cappillaries, but i only saw it when i moved the paper in circular way and still looking through the hole (The lamp screen was also warping like crazy while moving the paper and still looking through the hole). Maybe that means something, i mean that there are bloodvessels overlaping our pupils, what could that do?

Sorry for the shitty text but i am having a really hard time to formulating.

sorry i missed that^^ thats the purkinje's tree its quite normal i get this while eye examns too seems thts another thing our brain doesnt filter out like it should.

  6. unfortunatly, nonbenzos are just as addictive. At first, people hoped they were the miracle we are all waiting for.... But trials showed otherwise.

The amount of people addicted to the Z sleeping pills is huge.

i read that too a couple of minutes ago^^ but maybe there are a few advantages as well instead of using long term benzos on a daily basis.

Nonbenzodiazepines have demonstrated efficacy in treating sleep disorders. There is some limited evidence that suggests that tolerance to nonbenzodiazepines is slower to develop than with benzodiazepines. However, data are limited so no conclusions can be drawn. Data are also limited into the long term effects of nonbenzodiazepines. Further research into the safety of nonbenzodiazepines and long term effectiveness of nonbenzodiazepines has been recommended in a review of the literature.[3] Some differences exist between the Z-drugs, for example tolerance and rebound effects may not occur with zaleplon
The first three nonbenzodiazepine drugs to enter the market were the "Z-drugs", zopiclone, zolpidem and zaleplon. These three drugs are all sedatives used exclusively for the treatment of mild insomnia. They are safer than the older barbiturates especially in overdosage and they may, when compared to the benzodiazepines, have less of a tendency to induce physical dependence and addiction, although these issues can still become a problem. This has led to the Z-drugs becoming widely prescribed for the treatment of insomnia particularly in elderly patients.[5][6][7] Long term use is not recommended as tolerance and addiction can occur.[8] A survey of patients using nonbenzodiazepine Z drugs and benzodiazepine hypnotic users found that there was no difference in reports of adverse effects which were reported in over 41% of users and, in fact, Z drug users were more likely to report that they had tried to quit their hypnotic drug and were more likely to want to stop taking Z drugs than benzodiazepine users. Efficacy also didn't differ between Z drugs and benzodiazepine users.[9]

seems not to be the best way to handle it but maybe its an alternative to the other benzos because of the tolerance although this isnt really a fact only a suggestion.

  7. Nepuinthesky: I read a lot on google about experience of people with that soviet pill picamilon. 50% works, 50% not effect at all. At my country is very hard to find that, but in the US you can buy it. Would be wonderful if someone give a try. Is quite interesting and cheaper.

If picamilon works like klonopin on my, i make a big party

yeah man i looked it up sound interessting but i cant get them here too maybe an american should try.

here are the drugs i meant:

    http://en.wikipedia....nbenzodiazepine

very similar to benzos but they seem to be less addictive than a benzo seems they are in use today and not under development

  8. maybe some day someone create a non addictive benzo. Actually i thinks that's possible to make but the great business behind the pharmaceutical industry.....

Klonopin its the only thing so far that's give me a little of space and "ground feeling" and mostly of the time the dose are 0.5 or 1mg, two times a week.

I read somewhere about a russian suplement who interact with GABA's like benzo and isnt addictive called Picamilon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Picamilon

i think somebody posted a new drug which is developed somewhere on this forum. it acts like a benzo without the addiction but i cant remember the name maybe he will post it again. i think it was called nonbenzo or something like this^^

  9. there is one prob i think there are a few studys that flashbacks yes iam talking about flashbacks not about a persiting perception disorder arent caused by chemicals that were saved in your body. your body has metabolized the toxics very quick and there are no places like kidneys or the liver where it is saved. if this would be the cause a simple drug test would be positive and i guess it wont^^

so if the cause would be found in the Kidney or liver the only possibility would be a hormonal dysfunction which also would show up in a bloodtest.

the cause is found in our brain and not anywhere else in our body i think thats a fact we can trust.

so maybe we should try a brain flush^^ sorry for this joke if you want to try do it maybe iam wrong and i dont want to be the reason for not gettin cured^^

  10. yeah i didnt stop smoking for 3 weeks after my symptoms got worse. but i couldnt chill while high as i have done the last 8 years, snow was really fucked up and the afterimages was also a lot worse. i was still smoking 7 joints per day than i read about HPPD and stopped. since than my symptoms has improved but are still there 7 month later. for example the snow has improved alot its more like a vibrating of the whole texture.

there are two things i believe to be the cause of my symptom worsening first i was watching my side because of beeing in a pitch black room for 3 hours while high every where was floating colors, after it everything was grainy for ten minutes.

and the second thing is here in europe we have extreme weed its really a hallucinogen here. it has a high rate of THC and very low CBD.

this combination has brought up the new symptoms i think.

  11. if you think you need medication try thismaybe:

you could try to not mention HPPD and only tell about anxiety this is their every day bread so they cant send you home without helping.

i dont know what they are use to treat anxiety maybe you are lucky and he will pescribe something which is not known to make visuals worse.

but if he does, take the pescription and dont use it than go back and say they gave you XY side effect so he has to pescribe yousomething else.

  12. hmmdont now about residual effect because as i mentioned before my visuals started 3 years after my last acid trip while only smoking marijane.

i had a few episodes of DP/DR at the beginning but as the anxiety went it went also.

i had slight HPPD for maybe 5 years (warping, melting, movement, floating colors in the dark, snow with closed eyes)

and the most other symptoms since septemper 2011(snow, afterimages, ghosting, trails, halos, starbursts...)

  13. mate you have to get your anxiety under control. the most symptoms like brainfog and spacy head or DP/DR seems to be conected to anxiety.

i cant give you a key how you should do this because drugs dont seem to be the best choice but maybe you try something like cognitial behavior therapy or something or you should go see a shrink no idea.

but stay in mind HPPD wont kill you its only visual when your anxiety is under control. not everything tend to make HPPD worse dont worry to much if you do something which makes it worse stop it and it should be back to baseline soon.

Do sports thats the best way to hold you grounded and it helps depression and anxiety exspecially sports like running.

find something which is givin your life a sence, for me its my job i can help people which are in alot worse situation than me.
