The last time i got sick when my symptoms werent so bad as they are now, i had alot of problems with my eyes for some reason...theyd get really stick, like there was an oily film over them and id constantly have to keep rubbing them to get it to go away, tinnitus got worse also

Everyone's hppd is different. I can guarantee that drinking has made my hppd worse. I got it from around 10 trips...you did crazy amounts of drugs before you got it. Would it really be that surprising that youre neurologically more resilient than the people here who got it from only a few experiences

The most klon ive taken was on a weeklong bender. My symptoms weren't nearly as bad then. The most i took that week was 8 and the average id say 4 (2mg roche pills.) By the end they werent doing anything for me except getting me depressed. I stopped and had shivers for a week and that was that. Havent done it in a while. I can take 6mgs of klon and have a great time. 7 mgs of xanax and im blacked out.

Well i know a lot of people who have seen static and floaters and shit since they were born, and for them it's normal and not disturbing at all. Many tell me that watching the static morph at night is relaxing to them. Of course some do do drugs like LSD, and it doesnt make it worse from what they tell me, nor do they experience DPDR...everyone is different.

unless it's bothering you you should try to keep taking it...ive heard that sometimes benefits take as long as 6 months to occur. ive been on it 2 months and lemme tell you some days i feel much better than others. Sometimes i wonder whether ive progressed at all. if it's not making you too depressed or irate or anything just stay on it, you really have nothing to lose.

Yeah it's weird, i could also always contain myself better than my friends...but now, not so much lol

my brothers done his fair share and doesnt have it...your children might be genetically predisposed as you were, but without drugs theyll be just like you were before this shit happened

From EVERYTHING else ive read, including stories in the forum...5htp makes things worse...not willing to give that a try honestly

Just to update im feeling alot better, i think i was taking my doses at too short of an interval, separated them by a few hours and it's done wonders i think. I'm a lot more motivated, talking and thinking come much easier than they did just 2 weeks ago. Afterimages have decreased as well, not sure how much since i last posted though. Ghosting improved as well.

I get em without klonopin...i actually wish my parents didnt think im a fuckin addict so that i could take klonopin to help me cope

Me too...and all i want is to be alone...nothing worse than feeling lonely around people you used to love...i just want to get better on my own without anyone pretendign to understand me or bossing me around

Man, i got drunk for the first time in a while two days ago, probably overdid it but goddammit hangovers hit me hard now. Makes drinking not even worth it. Plus the acid reflux which accompanies excess is horrible.

Well i find that time sometimes goes by really quickly for me...i can just sit and stare at a window for hours with no thoughts in my head

Yeah, im scared of like shattering my leg and having to make the choice between morphine and the possible return/worsening of hppd or dealing with the pain and the possible return/worsening of hppd due to the stress

Yeah i had an issue with that for the first few days especially after i bumped up my dose, but after about 7 days the rage and depression went away...vitamin b6 is also supposed to help counteract that. Afterimages and streaks decreased...motivation returning, feeling more rested in the mornings and energetic throughout the day. Marginally, but it's noticeable.

I just got lucky with my doctor i guess, he prescribes keppra daily at a treatment center for addicts coming off benzos and since he rarely gets reports of side effects he didnt see a problem in letting me get some if it could possibly give me any solace...

but yeah, after-images and streaks greatly decreased...obviously still there but noticeably better. Also feeling a little better tempered and less foggy, actually managed to take a girl on a date and hook up with her haha, apparently my conversational skills arent so shitty if i just pace myself...

I ate corn today...visually no effect but maybe a bit of brain fog...hard to tell though, nothing that i could strictly pinpoint to corn itself though.

Man, this thread is a bummer...i love tostitos...why the fuck are we so sensitive to simple shit...ill definitely have to check next time i try, although i cant really say ive ever noticed anything

yeah definitely especially at night...if i leave my eyes open for too long all the silhouettes i see become black and then start waving around, hard to explain, or if i stare at the lines on concrete for two long the tiles seem to become one large mass of white

Yeah I think it's definitely helped it a little with dpdr as well. I have a feeling thatll take longer to notice an improvement on. Im happy with my results so far, considering im only 2 weeks in.

Afterimages, starbursts, and ghosting have definitely decreased, as has muscle pain i think.

Had that for a while, spaghetti legs, couldnt walk straight, etc, went away in time

Yeah, surprised im still alive after how hard ive gone a few times with no tolerance. They are both respiratory depressants so it's a dangerous combo. One strengthens the other. If you feel compelled, keep it at low doses
