Ghormeh Sabzi
http://peer.ccsd.cnr...2008.171348.pdf I haven't had a chance to read it fully yet, but this looks like a really interesting article, briefly describing many visual perception disorders. It makes brief mention of visual snow and areas of the visual cortex involved. The table at the bottom speculates a topological (connections) and hodological (deformation) dysfunction, linking it to apperceptive agnosia. Having Googled apperceptive agnosia, this seems odd, so perhaps I am reading it incorrectly. The article also mentions some other symptoms related to HPPD, such as phosphenes, afterimages and micropsia/macropsia. I hope to soon meet with the main the author of this article (who has seen a number of patients with HPPD-like symptoms) and will ask him as much as I can and report back. Link to comment
