Trazodone and propranolol (Help)

I have just prescribed Trazodone for insomnia, although I have heard it has caused some visual issues for some people. Does anyone know if it is safe to take it for sleep without making my symptoms worse? The symptom I'm worried about is afterimages and tracers because I can't have them get any worse as they already are very debilitating.

I have also prescribed propranolol for anxiety and was wondering if that has negative issues on visuals as well.
