Shadowplay
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felbamate It's a blocker of the NMDA receptor, which will stop the flow of calcium that might effect our vision. As other kalciumblockers are very effective for some of our symptoms. It's also related with the dopamin receptors where they play an impact on eachothers. Not only that but it's a positive regulator of GABA-receptors as well which can be useful for psychological reasons. This seems to be the most effective medicine for HPPD, but it has a price. Roughly 1/3000 and 1/5000 will be hit by some serious side-effects, and it might be irreversible. But I'd like to try this out some time, maybe at a hospital for safety reasons. We have to check this one out for sure. It seems hard to lay your hands on.
