There doesn't appear to be any other EEG headsets available to the consumer currently that look any where as good as these.

EEG headset are available from a wide range of manufacturers at different prices. Some are just simple headsets that look pretty cool yet are quite effective, whereas others look more like those you posted. I believe recently there's been a new one brought to market that doesn't need saline, and IIRC there's one called the Emotiv or something. There were more but I forgot. Just google "EEG headset".
What I'm more interested in is the Foc.us tDCS headset. I mean, testing your brainwaves is great and all, but altering them would be more interesting. Of course having both would ultimately be more effective if you are able to interpret the data and apply the stimulation accordingly.

Yeah the emotiv one looks good. Indeed, having both would be bloody awesome. I am hoping to get the Foc.us headset soon.

"If I had a million dollars" right? Haha! I'm definitely gonna buy the Foc.us though probably not until next year. Surely it would be better than my awkward device.
