“Hallucinations” open and closed eyes

Hello everyone! I need advice and help. People see "black" when they close their eyes. Three years ago I started to see a white dot that was shining, vibrating and moving. As the days passed, I began to see other dimensions, worlds, beings, colors, I see my body from the inside in some strange way. After three years, I still see a white dot that vibrates bright and various colors, I am constantly in motion but everything is unclear. I see this constantly with my eyes open and closed. The neurologists I talked to and the psychiatrists don't have an answer because they don't know what's wrong with me. I did head, brain, blood tests, the results are fine. If anyone knows anything more about this, please tell me. Thank you.

Hi there Mladen, welcome to hppd online.com message board! 

Thankyou for sharing your experiences with us. I can totally relate to many aspects of what you have shared. (I'm sure many other can too).

Starting with a white dot. This might be considered as "geometric phosphenes" (seeing light without light penetrating the eye) and then sounds like things possibly evolved and symptom worsened from there. 

I was wondering have you been diagnosed with hppd ? Were these experiences triggered by a certain experience? Possibly drug induced?

Often hppd symptoms are so vivid that I myself and others see and are open to other dimensions, world's,  beings and dense colour as you describe, that are psychedelic in nature. 

When you are sharing about white dots that vibrate, In constant  motion and making everything unclear, to me this sounds like heavy "visual snow" (another symptom of hppd) I too experience this symptom with  eyes open and  eyes closed , it does not matter and yes it is constant also. 

That is an interesting and cool  graphic you shared.! To me it looks like "fractals" another visual phenomena of hppd or even superimpositions (self imposed or overlapping geometric patterns). Yes I see this too.

I know it's very challenging with doctors and neurologists as the condition is not readily known by medical people. That's why sometimes it can be beneficial to do your best to educate them. This can be challenging though achievable with the right information.

How are you coping now? Do you have any support networks ? Are you currently on any medication? 

I'm very sorry to hear you are dealing with these highly challenging experiences! 

I'm just randomly sharing what comes to me, though others may have different views.  I hope this is helpful for a start.
