Ketone Bodies Clear Damaged Proteins in the Brain

I tried a strict keto diet for 11 days and then at night I started bugging out and couldn't sleep so I had to eat a banana and break my fast. It did not help my HPPD symptoms at all. Low carb and Paleo diets did help my overall well-being though.

Has anyone had success with the keto diet? I know there is a way to get more ketones into your body without being in a state of ketosis but I forgot how. I think all you to do is like ingest something.
