unkysippinred Posted November 29 Report Posted November 29 I found a couple ppl on reddit that have been on them long term and they said the symptoms events level out after you've been on them for a while but I'm trying to find more ppl that's happend to cause if that's not what happens my hppd is going to just keep getting worse and worse. I was on 30mg of adderall and it was making the visuals as well as the mild dpdr much worse but I can take it if it eventually stops making them worse. I'm just worried it's going to keep getting worse and worse even after I've been on them for years. I switched to concerta because most people say it only increases the visuals very slightly compared to other adhd meds but for me it's increasing the visuals a lot. Almost as bad as the adderall. It's also doing absolutely nothing for my adhd. I'd think i was taking a nothing if it wasnt for the increase in visuals. I'm probably going to just start taking the adderall again and hope for the best. My severe depression is gone when I take it and im actually happy for the first time in my life. I can't function without it. It effects litterly every aspect of life and I feel zero emotions except for anger and stress when I'm not taking it. I can't even get out of bed without it. My only chance at living a normal happy life is taking it everyday for the rest of my life but I'm really worried that my hppd will just get very sightly worse every single time I take it. That doesn't seem to be the case based on what I've read but I need more reassurence cause if I'm wrong this could end very badly. But like I said I am going to live a very miserable life if i can't take it so it might be worth it either way. I'm just terrified of the hppd and dpdr. I don't really even know what it's like to live with either of those because mine is so mild and easy to block out when I'm not on meds. But lmk what ur experience been if you taken em long term
