Hey guys! I was a smoker before my hppd, but during the beggining of it i noticed that cigars made my vision worse temporarily, so I stopped with it and hadn't smoked since 2022. The thing is that i really could use a smoke right know. I am fairly stressed and in a dying need of a cigar. So i want to ask you: tobacco makes your hppd worse or u can go for a smoke or to without major flares.

Just to be clear i don't want to be addicted again (the cancer stuff and etc.), just want one single unit of a good old malrboro red.

Cigarettes did objectively make my vision worse. I don't vape or smoke hookah or weed but I picked up the habit and hobby of smoking cigars. I love it, it doesn't affect my lungs and HPPD like cigarettes did and it calms me down and makes me happy. Weed also makes it worse.

I always have smoked cigars every once and a while but it never bothered me. I never smoked them until years later though, when my hppd was significantly better. The way it is now, I could have one if I want, no problems at all.
