brake Posted November 12, 2024 Report Posted November 12, 2024 Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Reaffirms His Support For Medicinal Psychedelics I predict a spike in HPPD and visual snow syndrome patients lol.
yarkadin Posted November 13, 2024 Report Posted November 13, 2024 (edited) There is no reason to ban fluoride in water... Russia where I come from banned fluoride at one point, and even now fluoride is spotty all around the country. In Russia people in the countryside tend to have rotted and missing teeth. There are multiple sides to this like lack of good dentistry and regular maintenance, possibly, but the water quality is certainly part of it. Kennedy is just so wrong about so many things... just because something is mainstream, does not necessarily mean that it's wrong but that seems to be his thinking. The only silver lining (and it comes at great cost) I can see if psychedelics become decriminalized on a larger scale is that it will inevitably bring about more HPPD cases, and that increase in cases will bring more attention to the disorder, and attention will bring about more possibility for a cure. Check out this map here to see where the USA stands now on this issue: https://psychedelicalpha.com/data/psychedelic-laws Frankly, it's bizarre to me that a so-called conservative administration, with a huge evangelical and conservative Christian base, would even consider this... probably won't go anywhere at all, that's my guess... Very interesting tracker, thanks for sharing!!! Yes unfortunately it may be a necessary evil for more cases to spike so that we get more funding and attention and hopefully it will bring us closer to a cure or better treatment. But still I tell everyone not to do psychedelics. Prevention is a good method lol. Yeah I doubt it will take off the ground. For example I was a pro-MDMA therapy treatment person because I never got HPPD from it but I do take into account that others have. I always felt way better after MDMA and like it's good for trauma and PTSD but the FDA didn't even approve that and it was almost there. I even reached out to some doctors and scientists explaining my case and that I would be willing to undergo such MDMA guided therapy sessions with professionals but no one ever wrote back to me.
brake Posted November 15, 2024 Author Report Posted November 15, 2024 I think I qualify for novel treatments since it's been 10 years and I already tried different medications and complete sobriety and complete abstinence and healthy living and different diets and different climates and different exercises and yoga.
