Emmaxd
Hello guys, I'm going to tell you my story, this is through a translator so English is not the most perfect , approximately 10 months ago I had my bad trip and I had prolonged consumption 8 times in 5 months, 4 times in micro doses I know it was a little irresponsible but from there I see something and then I can see it with my eyes closed, white dots in the sky, I see double from a distance, dissociative symptoms, when I speak I can't find words or follow a conversation, I had delusions self-referential even with my own family, I have been to multiple psychiatrists and they tell me that they do not know about HPPD, they only diagnosed me with schizophrenia but despite the medication I feel fried, any advice is a blessing Edited October 9 by Emmaxd
Spartan
Hello friend, I can relate to your symptoms of onset. I too myself experienced what you are describing. Seeing as your psychiatrist is not aware of hppd he most very likely has incorrectly diagnosed you with schizophrenia. To me your symptoms sounds like classical hppd onset symptoms. In this way, it is a fact that many anti psychotic medications are known to exacerbate the symptoms of hppd (thus you feeling fried) it may be that antipsychotics are making your symptoms worse. In retrospect, I would do my best to gather resourceful information about hppd and do your best to educate that doctor or a new doctor, showing how your symptoms were triggered by LSD consumption and that you are now experiencing typical onset symptoms of hppd. From there, with the new understanding of your doctor, you may be able to be prescribed and try a new medication/s if you feel the need too, that maybe beneficial for your symptoms that are used for hppd. For example, Lamotrogine or Clonazepam. I myself use both of these medications. Do your best to stay calm, be healthy and if the anti psychotic medications seem to be making your symptoms worse, I would consider to stop taking them. I hope this is helpful for a start. Welcome to the message board. Kind regards. Edited October 10 by Spartan
