Be-happy-therapy

Recommended Posts

Hello,

i suffer from HPPD, head pressure, fatigue, erectile dysfunction and DR since 10 years. i experience strong symptoms. aditionally, i react extremly sensitive to sugar, caffeine, nicotine, psychoactive substances etc.  it partially became better, but since 5 years it´s status quo.

furthermore, i explored a relation between emotional wellbeing and HPPD. E.g. i make a romantic experience, my symptoms instantly (!) get better, often acompanied by a short MDMA-flashback. It refers to all positive experiences, even going to the barber and getting a new haircut. Lol. Unfortunately, my symptoms are so strong that this "therapy" has its boundaries. Although i made severe progresses by the "be-happy-therapy", I couldnt overcome HPPD.

Anyone has the same symptom? If so, i´d like to get into contact with you.

I am also the same. I am also very sensitive to sugar and caffeine. Sugar probably not as much as you. I've had these symptoms for almost 12 years. Not much helps besides like Lamictal, Klonopin, Xanax and Valium. I am going to try keppra to see how it does. Saunas help short term. Therapy doesn't help that much either.

Hey brake. What do you want to say?? That all the meds listed above did help you or didnt?

Sauna isnt good for me as my brain reacts sensitive to the heat. In reverse, taking cold showers help a lot.

But thats insane - can you describe your influences of positive experiences to your HPPD?
