Vaccines advice

Hi Everyone,

 

Long time HPPD Sufferer here of five years, long story short I had a huge flair up recently with all symptoms dramatically getting worse from taking some cold medicine (sudafed and a nasal spray) :(. That's just the nature of this disorder I guess.

However I am due to go to vietnam in November and have an appointment for two vaccines one for Typhoid and one for Hepatitis A.

 

I wonder if anyone on here has any experience with getting vaccines and if they have worsened symptoms or had no effect? I am especially cautious after my massive increase in symptoms due to only some standard cold medicine.

Hi there!

For one, I feel ya on the cold medicines making things a million times worse. Ugh. For two, I have only had one vaccine that messed me up. It was the pneumococcal one. Other than that, I have had no other problems with vaccines. (Though I’ve not had a Typhoid or Hep A vaccine so I don’t know if this helps or not.)
