Gaz
Since getting HPPD I have woken up countless mornings to discover new chips in my teeth from bashing them together in my sleep. I also clench my jaw during the day a lot as a kind of coping mechanism. Anyone else have this problem? Think it is linked to stress and anxiety. Not sure what to do about it as I don't want to end up destroying all my teeth.
neffbull
My sister experiences this whenever she starts getting overwhelmed with stress. If you go to a dentist they can create a special mouth guard that you wear at night.
Joeygeorgie88
For me it's an MDMA-esque urge to clench my jaw. Not very nice.
K.B.Fante
I've actually had this off and on ever since getting HPPD. I've noticed it's directly correlated to food, particularly sugar, carbs and some nightshades which have toxins in them.
MadDoc
I've ground my teeth at night my whole adult life. I dont know if it's caused by hppd because I've had that my whole adult life as well. It was much worse the years I was drinking. Get fitted for a mouth guard and wear it every night. It'll help you keep your teeth.
