This DP/DR ruines my life the most, because i dont feel love/happiness.. this should be the reason humans are alive I can live with my visuals, but DP/DR, my god ! What helps? What meds? (benzos work but its just for the anxiety (duh) Meditation helps a little also does sports, but it is ALWAYS there. HPPD33

hppd33
A cure yea. ofcourse. The only thing i hear out there is acceptance. I MUST accept it, fighting against it makes it worse. I know somewhere in my deepest me i can resolve it, but always being zen, is not what i want. I also want to have a little party in myself, with others, not being tired all the time. hppd24years
I wonder y lots of peeps say accept it?? They must not have a severe case like the first time when I received it.. I had some visuals, tinnitus and dr/dp but it was nothing compared to now.. Dam I hope I can find something on this site that works for me... hppd33
I think a lot of people have it severe here. What doesnt help is smoking, drinking alcohol (day after), using drugs. What does help is fresh air, going to the beach or a wood.. just try to get in touch with nature..
Hppdsince1974
I posted the things that helped me over the course of 40 years dealing with HPPD. It's in the GENERAL section, page 3.
