Sensory overload

Does this happen to anyone else? Sometimes I feel like I'm attacked by noise around me. I have to get away from whatever is creating the noise or shut it off if I can. I become very agitated and have to have some down time with no sound. I was wondering if this could be that my brain is stuck on high beta wave. Listening to alpha or theta waves are suppose to help balance it out. Not really sure about this but would love some input.

Well i don't think it matters about brain waves, in this case, because regardless the problem exists.

I often feel attacked by sounds and light. I think your problem may be connected to a headache type thing. I always felt that the hypersensitivity and the headaches are related to very slight acidosis. Or dietary (i.e.-MSG intake etc)
