  1. @Jjjj no symptoms seemed to improve all that much, it is still very debilitating on a daily basis
  2. Hi all, I am around 18 months into my journey with Hppd, my symptoms started towards the end of 2021 and so I have had a lot of time to reflect upon what Hppd is and if it fits for me and my experience so far. I have noticed the term Hppd is such an abigious broad term, I feel that each person who has persisting effects after a Hullucinigen has both a differing history and or circumstance that led to the dysfunction they are experiencing, e.g different psychadellics have differing modes of actions, some are said to have neurotoxic effects and so for the people who ingested these types thier problem could be that of a neurotoxic issue perhaps, where as some psychadellics are said not to be neurotoxic, such as shrooms, interestingly some people can consume shrooms countless times and still be without issue while others can be left with negative symptoms of Hppd after just a first time microdose and giving it is not said to be neurotoxic I then question what reaction could leave a person with an ongoing chronic set of symptoms, to me in this circumstance it seems autoimmune in nature, this as autoimmune disease symptoms can share very simular symptomology to that of which is seen in Hppd Either way each person can have so many differing factors from one another that result in thier symptomology that it really makes me question the viability of chasing Hppd like it is a certain condition but really it is a condition of many causes and not one single identifiable factor that we seem to be on the hunt for. just a ramble at best and I'm probably looking at it all wrong but it certainly feels like people talk consider Hppd like it's a one fits all approach.
  3. Hi @Beefol I wish I could say I'm better but I am still suffering each day, not much has changed....if anything

Hi @sara2, I've developed sleeping issues from this, would love to hear your story
  5. @Sara2i've had hppd for around 15 months, very true it's the worser symptoms for me too, they don't seem to have subsided either, I am doing tests to determain what exactly is at fault with me as I took much less than a micrdose of a shroom and am still suffering as much as I am, this leads me to believe my issues are pathogenic, autoimmune or both
  6. @Somebodysomehwere, you absolute legend!!! That chatGpt is amazing, saves so much time, big thanks
  7. @Fawkinchit hey pal I'm sure I speak not on behalf of just myself when I say thankyou for your efforts and continued efforts, it's the detication of people like yourself who drive for understanding and cures that change the life of countless people for the better. I'm not sorry if thats mushy as I feel that you (and many others out there for that matter) deserve a pat on the back. I've seen how much you do and it deserves the recongnition. I aim to follow in such footsteps and hope I can be a part of positve change too.
  8. Thanks for your response Akshay, although I do not see anything creepy unfortunately my thoughts since the onset of this and the derealisation make up for it...and some, I have made a sleep routine that involves a lot of aspects that seem to have improved my sleep somewhat, tho I dream everynight which is odd. I hope you get better to bud, Inbox me if you want to chat and share tips pal I'd love to chat more :). P.s to anyone reading this please keep your head up and keep fighting if you can't do that atleast float and go with it but do not give up, we got this
  9. I saw the same post too, wtf!!!, bringing to light a horrible condition is not going to cause some mass freakout, so sad
  10. I've seen study's suggesting that psychadelics can mess with cortical brainwave function, it seems that brain waves are another way for the brain to comunicate with it's parts, and when the wrong signal I.e delta (sleep frequency waves) are present during the day it can produce hullications and other hppd like effects, maybe looking into modulating the brains brain wave state to induce alpha brain waves (the typical daytime waves) could be a method to get the brain operating normally again, just a guess tho, anyome have any opoinion on this?
  11. NRFAdmin, agreee If I lived in America I'd do just that, if whoever reads this lives within a reasonable distance to the conference get your ass down there and make yourself heard
  12. Don't doubt yourself bud, at the very least give yourself the chance to surprise yourself with your own grit and determination to better yourself regardless of the shit you have to endure, I fully aknowledge the shit you are going through, I had never done a drug in my life was lulled into trying a magic mushroom after reading all the nonsense about how safe and theraputic they are, I got hpod after a single microdise nibble, I lost my career in the Army I'd worked tirelesly for, I lost Christmas with my son, I lost my health, family, friends, I can't sleep properly, I lost so many prospects in life..the list is so long! But!!!!!! I remind myself that people have lost half a brain and many more horrific injuries and still gone on to have recoveries and have nice little ted talks about thier experience amd how they fought through on persistence alone, who knows what the future hold recovery wise for any of us I'm in that boat bud, but without going all braveheart lets be the person that stares adversity in the face and still cracks a smile, I think of lifes bullshit like it's a bully...bullies don't deserve to win even if they fuck you up and make you look like a lemon, forget anyone else do it for you and whoever matters, I take baby steps and try to improve where I can for me I am looking at a functional approach to healing.... it may work it may not but fuck it what choice have I got. Find that bit of grunt you have...or develop it if you have to and stick your finger up to the bullshit that comes your way...make it your bitch.
  13. Just wondering, what do we think about damage to the Pineal Gland being in part responsible for some of the symptoms off hppd: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2675194/ Providing perminant damage is not done as a insurance policy if you will I am trying to put together a complete list of natural known detoxifying foods/methods which could help with gut microbiom support, decalcifying the pineal gland, heavy metal detoxing and pathogenic/virul removal. Most of these foods are common and easily sourced but in concert with eachother and in a repitive fashion might help. Anyone here tried this or want to lend some insight or views, concerns etc
  14. Hi all, I recently posted for the first time about my hppd a few weeks ago, not much has changed symptom wise but I am still keeping up hope, keeping in good health and trying to better myself each day. Alongside this my Dr has put forward a Hppd specialist that I am told I've been sorted a consultation with, he I am told not only helps with the rehab side of hppd but is also involved with research elements in gaining an understanding of hppd so I just wanted to put it out there so not to waste an opportunity if anyone in this forum wants to add thier most solid theory/'s behind hppd and maybe we can wittle it down further to a few solid ideas I can then put across to him and maybe he can use it as fuel for research. Just an idea, might be worth a shot, what you guys and girls think?
  15. @Jay1 Amen to that, I think it's massively important that this forum and it's contents remain a space for talk that will help people get better but also a place of reference for our shared research and experience for people who seriously want to get/or want to find out how to get better
  16. @Ludwig Ahlgren has been nearly 4 months so far I feel like it has eaten me up, I've had no obvious visual symotoms, all phycological, the worst being I can't sleep when I try I fall into psychotic getting dillusional thoughts and then I often wake up out of this state almost consistently until, and when I do drift off it's involves very vivid dreams that I seem to be able to completely recall, I feel like if could sleep my brain would help heal, I do feel that psychadellic substances damage the CNS system and cause abnormal autonomic dysfunction which activates the parasympathetic system that then creates the anxiety feeling which lends to restless sleep :/, tought to say, can I ask if you had simular symptoms?
  17. @Gast1y nope I've always stayed clear, there were two pots one had a musbroom with some type of black growth on it which smelled quite strong, the other pot seemed fine but also the mushrooms smelled very strong, I thought this was normal :/, sorry no pics regretabley I binned it straight away
  18. Sorry to hear that, I'm still in disbelief that this could even happen and that so little can be done to help the suffering, please keep your head up if you can pal
  19. Hi all, just want to get some heads together and thoughts churning, through my research and self experience I am beginning to feel like the Anxiety/sleep issue/Dp/Dr is a bigger deal than it is made out to be, as it could be in part due to a damning causual factor, this being these symptoms are linked to some form of CNS damage, I feel like the insomnia/or anxiety could be due to damage to some or many parts of the CNS system, if we consider the Autonomic nervous system being part of the effected, this could be damage that leaves us in a state of fight or flight (a.k.a a Parasympathetic state) which we feel as anxiety, irregular heart pounding/& or speed and so on, because this system is automatic in function, when damaged it could be impossible to lower back into a normal prolonged sympathetic state (a.k.a Rest and digest state) without meds (especially when sleeping hence the change in sleep and insomnia), this is my worry and foremost alongside the fact that left untreated this will lead to perminant damage not only from lack of sleep but also from the many other issues that arise when we exist in a parasympathetic state for prolonged periods of time, as much as I hate to have to theorise this and point it out if correct I think it is important for many of us to consider as many might go on to exist in comunatively damaging states in the false belief they are just suffering from normal neurotypically anxiety that is within normal control (this being "just anxiety" seems to get banded about a lot) when really many of us need to consider this differently, but also so we can get the acceptence and treatment that should accompany it. Please fire away your opinions and maybe we can get some heads together on this.
  20. Hey did any of you guys resolve the head pressure issue?
  21. Hi all, firstly my upmost respect and best wishes to all who are struggling with H.p.p.d or anything symtomatically Simular, please please lets keep fighting for the necessary information we need and to spread awareness of this not only for eachother but also for the family/loved ones of a person who is affected by this as no doubt they can become a secondary casualty of sorts. My story of ongoing hell started 2 months ago and counting, I'm a 30 year old male, a Typical health nerd, gym type guy, in a full time electrician career with a part time military career on the side, this alongside being a dad to a 9 year old...who is my absolute word. Regardless of the amazing things I have built up and achieved for myself I have always been hard on myself in thinking I could be better...as most of us do, recently I'd come across this resergeance of phycadellics, with it seemingly promoting so many reported benifts to cognition and general life that I got sucked in and ultimately began cherry picking positive sounding research to the point where I put myself in a state of denial over the real risks that I was reading being touted as extreamly low. Even as a guy who never smoked drinked, had ever touched a drug and was always weary about them this false belief got me to a stage where I grew some Shrooms from a kit, this being as I thought it would be the safest way to take it, all be it I was not sure how well they turned out and I suspect some contamination occured within part of the grow, regardless of this I nibbled the top off of a fresh mushroom (about the size of a shirt button) and within 30 minutes what started never really left, my vision had changed, I felt slower and depersonalisation and derelisation set in, after a crap night sleep I was shocked to find this didn't subside, from there on I've have not slept propely where I am constantly in a dream all night in but in such a shallow way it feels like I have barely had any sleep, this I believe is due to not now being able to properly transition into the deeper states of restoritive sleep, this has been a real kicker for me, as it's comunalitive effects saw me pass out from exhaustion and end up in a mental hospital, where the only response there was to try and dose me with typical sleep aids and s.s.r.i meds. Doctors and all alike are baffled with what do as many of you may know, this seems to be so misunderstood and so getting some form of diagnosis is hard. But really my biggest pain is the effect it has already had and the ongoing effect it will have on my loved ones and what I have built in life, I have been so distant, numb and outright scared shitless, it's effects are so consuming, that it has turned me upside down. I am trying my best to come up with answers and to stay strong, any usefull info and tips I find that help I will be sure to share around. I am so greatfull for this website as a platform and place for trying to help eachother and bringing light to what is a horrible thing to go through. Stay strong James
