  1. I tried TMS but they need to find where to aim it beforehand for it to be useful... They didn't for mine and it didn't make me feel better
  2. Hey, isn't 4mg over 10 years an awfully high clonazepam use ? 95 % of symptoms gone would be expected tbh lol but it is kinda crazy that his HPPD didn't came back afterwards Good (for real) for him, but yeah it sounds like a last hope solution to me... This feels really scary to try (provided you find a psychiatrist willing to put you on such a high dose for a long time which I assume wouldn't be too common ?)
  3. It helps me a lot with the cognitive symptoms of HPPD. At first it was a wonder drug but you do develop tolerance to it. Be wary as it can get kinda addictive and the withdrawal is hard
  4. Soooo... Do you think there's hope to recover one day ?
  5. Alright I took it at 7 AM and at 1PM I suddendly had a very strong stomach ache, I felt very light-headed and completely confused. I had to run to the public toilets where I litterally passed out from diarrhea... It might even have been a seizure because I have aches in my neck and side and I believe I twerked while unconscious (I was kinda conscious on the ground thinking to myself "wtf is happening right now") So yeah, it might have been due to other factors as well (I work in greenhouse where it was almost 40°C, few water, kinda tired) It's a shame cause I did feel better until that and now I feel weird, I have random tensions in my muscle. I will try again tomorrow with 1g instead of 2, and maybe persevere for a week 1/2 if the side effects are not too severe as a lot of people said that with NAC you feel worse at the start
  6. I will try same regiment as you and report, thanks for sharing and glad you are feeling better after all this time !!
  7. @BlossyMy TMS didnt change much but I'm kinda frustrated that they didnt make me do a qEEG before hand. Without it it's a bit like shooting at random and hoping the good brain area is targeted... The issue is that it seems like qEEG doesn't exist in France
  8. I have same kind of eye issues with strain and tension... because of nutmeg, which is in the same drug class as benadryl... 5 years ago and still fucked up
  9. "Anterograde amnesia is the inability to create new memories due to brain damage, while long-term memories from before the event remain intact" I definitely suffer from this since HPPD onset, and it doesn't seem to get better... The last 5 years of my life are a complete blur (not even talking about periods where I was taking Clonazepam lol). But I still have sharp memory of everything that happened before. Somebody can relate ?
  10. I follow a TMS treatment, the issue is finding the right area of the brain to target. They targeted the area associated with DPDR, a symptom I don't have lol.
  11. Hey Jay, I know you've tried TMS (I think) in the past. Just throwing it out there that there are protocols out there that target DR specifically. I know it's done in France I'm currently following the treatment. It might be worth looking into that as there are almost no side-effects and the treatment works good enough from what I understand. It cured one guy I know.
  12. Hey, you probably know this but be careful with the klonopin being a benzo and all that. I'm following an rTMS (brain magnetic stimulation) treatment atm. I feel little benefits for the moment but the treatment worked on one guy in France. I'll report if it works for me too, it may be a treatment for some
  13. I don't know if that's relevant or not but I experience great relief with Lyrica which is an antiepileptic too. I can live somewhat normally since I take this drug
  14. Apparently not the one according to reddit but yes. Apparently sleep deprivation creates a surge of dopamine and that may be why
  15. A French guy I'im in contact with was cured completely with TMS treatment, I myself will be treated this year hopefully. i'll report here on the results
  16. You're right charlie but still, my HPPD got way worse with SSRI. A guy I know from my french support group got HPPD from an SSRI alone, he never took any drugs before. I don't know about antidepressants as a whole, but SSRIs in particular seems to be risky.
  17. Same for me with shrooms, after the first hallucinogenic surge I feel completely calm and 100% relieved from HPPD, I get delusions of sobriety even after taking lot of grams and just feel soooooo good... But the weeks after that are worse than before...
  18. Can't say I understood all your post, but I can testify to five things, three of them mentionned above : - No masturbation helps my HPPD a lot - Zero eating temporarily helps my HPPD a lot - Anti-histamines have helped my HPPD (but I'm scared to do experiments) and - sleep deprivation temporarily cures my HPPD : 0 symptoms + feeling like before - clonazepam is effective I don't know how these things are related to mast cells but you maybe will see a link. Some things seems physical with HPPD : mine get worse when I sit in a vehicle, especially if it vibrates a lot i.e : school buses
  19. How is it possible there is such "drama" around foundation for bringing help to HPPD ?
  20. If it's only a month since you got HPPD I would stay back from all these supplements, CBD etc... It may be pretty hard but even stop going on this forum, just sleep, exercise, prayer, drink water... 100% sobriety. If it's been only a month you still have a good chance to heal but you need to stop obsessing, good luck man
  21. I started Muay Thai recently and sometimes after training I don't feel so good cognitively, does any of you have experience with HPPD and martial arts ?
  22. Just letting you know that I suffer from exactly the same thing, only time and sobriety really helepd so far. Did you tried benzodiazepines ?
