  1. I think you're going to have to do the urgent care/emergency room thing. I was in a similar situation to you and I couldn't get klonopin for a couple days, and it was like hell on earth.
  2. I've taken all three. I took the Keppra (I believe it was 1500 mg two times per day: once in the morning and once at night?) and I felt fine. No tiredness or grogginess. I took Lamtrogine 200 mg at night and felt fine. I took the Buspar (30 mg twice a day: once in the morning and once at lunchtime?) and this one made me kind of dizzy. I wouldn't drive on this one, unless you've been on it for a long time, maybe months. Everyone reacts to medications differently so I don't think you should learn how to drive until you've been on a certain dosage for a while and are used to it. Good luck.
  3. I took this one for a while. I believe I was on 60 mg at one point. I don't feel like it helped with anxiety at all. It also made me kind of dizzy, I would get headrushes after standing up. I don't think it's supposed to be very efficacious. There's a study about combining it with melatonin to treat depression. Just my two cents. Good luck!
  4. I don't think it's had any effect on my cognitive abilities, anxiety, or depression.
  5. I've been taking Brintellix for about 2 months now at 10 mg and I can't say I notice anything positive or negative. It hasn't impacted my visuals at all. I do experience nausea when I take it, so I started taking it at night instead of in the morning. I'm probably going to stop taking because I don't think it's helping me.
  6. I think mindfulness/meditation can be very helpful and there are many studies on the subject.
  7. My HPPD was caused by cannabis. I had used psychedelics previously (about 5 times) and always had a pleasant trip. I smoked cannabis one night and it was like a switch flipped in my brain. I experienced (and still experience) visual snow, afterimages, closed eye visuals, halos around light and perhaps more. I don't get trails or colored patterns on walls. My visuals are less intense than most on here. I would say that my visuals/HPPD are a 2 or 3 on a scale of 1-10. (10 being the highest) I have still experienced anxiety, DP/DR, and depression. I'm pretty sure that marijuana caused the visual phenomenon I see everyday.
  8. I've taken Mirtazapine on and off for about 2 years after reading a post on here that read something like "Completely healed from a case of Diagnosed HPPD." Mirtazapine hasn't affected my visual symptoms positively or negatively. It helps me sleep and with depression. It does nothing for anxiety. I'm not sure any non-benzo medications will help you with anxiety. Especially if you have used a benzo and can compare it to that. Just my two cents.
  9. I went under for shoulder surgery and I was fine.
  10. Codeine is an opiate and promethazine is an antihistamine. The cough medicine your doctor gave you is what you mix with alcohol to make "syzzurp" or "purple drank". I think you will be fine taking it. Edit: I meant you'll be fine taking the cough medicine, not the purple drank. That will get you severely intoxicated.
  11. Welcome to the board! You sound like you're on the right path to getting better! You also sound like you're doing pretty well anyways. Keep up the good work.
  12. I googled HPPD and olanzapine and it popped up. I was looking for one of the case reports of HPPD being treated with olanzapine and fluoxetine.
  13. I found this article published in June of 2013. It's definitely worth reading. I tried uploading the pdf file in research articles, but the file is too big.
  14. I took clonidine at the very beginning of my HPPD, and it did nothing for me. I think it can be make you a little tired. My psychiatrist talked to Dr. Halpern (who has published a few papers on treating HPPD) and he said Halpern recommends SSRIs, Clonidine, and Naltrexone. I also took Naltrexone and that did nothing either. A lot of people say Naltrexone helps with DP/DR but it didn't help with that.
