  • Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder (HPPD) support forum - HPPD, flashbacks, drug-induced visual snow syndrome and depersonalization/derealization.

    Common HPPD symptoms: visual snow, palinopsia (trails/afterimages), increased BFEP, increased floaters, ghosting, halos, starbursts, macropsia/micropsia, geometric hallucinations, closed-eye visuals, flashbacks, depersonalization/derealization, anxiety, depression, brain fog, cognitive dysfunction, tinnitus.

      Do you guys think that Starburts and holes is an eye issue called astigmatism

      Good question. But I don't think drugs can damage the eyes. I read that astigmatism is treated with special glasses. Has anyone worn these? I also noticed that the visual effects associated with clear skies are reduced when looking at the sky through a window. Looks like the midges in the sky are in the ultraviolet range.

      Thanks Jay    I replied to Ak shay with my previous symptoms and need to add a few more...   If I go outside in the heat my face burns like a bad sunburn, recently other things have triggered this like certain foods... since last week I've had sexual dysfunction and more absent minded    It's been suggested to stop cannabis but a few hits once or twice a night actually helps with some of the twitching and maybe insomnia and racing thoughts however it makes me trip and tinnitus    Since the 8th I've felt numbness and Tingling and pressure in my frontal lobe and dizzying and took an ibuprofen yesterday to test

      Visual stuff isn't much of an issue...   Here's most of what I came up with Saturday at the emergency room... Severe depression  Panic attacks  Trouble sleeping  Fatigue  Loss of appetite  Jaw paralysis  Cold numbness hands feet Heart palpitations  Irregular heartbeat  Blood pressure changes  Muscle spasms  Tremors  Upset stomach  Shortness of breath  Thirsty often  Rapid urination  Unable to retain fluids  Dizziness  Foggy thinking  Light headed Tingling in lower left side Recovering from passing out last June

      I have university access to PubMed and Medline but I'm still unable to find a full-text version, only an abstract like what is posted here.

      Hi Dave, I see in your profile pic one of your original posts from 1999, then I see that you joined this one in 2010.  Is it possible to see posts from the forum that we all used to message on - I'm presuming that you and I were on the same one forum?   It's because another user and I are looking for people we messaged with back in 2003 but I think though that I had a different user name in those days.  Do you know of that forum and whether we can access posts from those days?  I would like to see those early posts of mine because they had a lot of info about how my HPPD developed etc..  Many thanks.
