News: PLEASE NOTE: If you have not been diagnosed with HPPD by a clinician, please contact a medical professional if you are experiencing visual problems. This is especially important if you have not taken a hallucinogen, (please note in this case we are not going to consider unadulterated cannabis a hallucinogen), and have an onset of symptoms that are similar to HPPD. There are other causes for persistent visuals and an example of other disorders that can have HPPD-like symptoms include: temporal lobe epilepsy, potentially a brain tumor, intercurrent drug use or toxic exposures to dangerous chemicals at the work place or at home, migraine sufferers can have also have persistent visual symptoms, and there are also disorders that are not unnecessarily neurological or ocular disorder, but are disorders of the entire body that can have effects on the brain. For example: SLE [Systemic Lupus Erythematosus], any type of recent head trauma, intraocular pathology (this include eye injuries or other possible conditions related to the structures of the eye that need to be examined by an ophthalmologist) and disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, which can have neurological conditions that affect your vision. It is important to that you are diagnosed by a clinician and do not diagnosis yourself. You undergo a MRI, a EEG, an examinations by your eye doctor and also discussing your symptoms with a neurologist and psychiatrist. This web site is not intended to diagnosis your disorder, but instead provide support to those individuals who have already received the diagnosis of HPPD or who want to educate themselves on HPPD.

No New Posts Call for Donations
Dr. Davis has agreed in a very positive way to talk to anybody who will donate $100 dollars or more to the cause. I hate to make money an issue, but this is going to be costly. Donors in the past over this amount can e-mail me and he will talk to you already. You made your pledge.
